Jung Yonghwa Diagnosed with Vocal Cord Nodules

C.N Blue’s Jung Yonghwa has been diagnosed with vocal cord nodules, halting the group’s preparation in recording a new album.
FNC Music stated on the 28th that Jung Yonghwa felt strange during the recording of SBS Kim Jungeun’s Chocolate on the 21st. He had visited the hospital after the recording and was diagnosed with vocal cord nodules. Vocal cord nodules occur when a layer of tissue over the vocal cords inflame due to extensive use of the user’s voice.
FNC Music also stated, “During the rehearsal before the actual filming he felt that his vocals were locked and he could not project his voice well. But the good thing is that the nodules are in the early stages of development, hence there is no need for surgery.”
Jung Yonghwa is required to rest for two weeks and in the meantime, all of his schedules have been canceled so he can allow his vocal cords to recover.  C.N Blue are currently in the process of recording a Japanese and Korean album.
