Eugene involved in a minor car accident

Eugene of S.E.S was involved in a minor car accident due to heavy snowfall on January 4th.

A spokesperson for Eugene’s management company stated: “They were on their way to Yong Pyong to film a scene for 'Creating Destiny' at a ski resort, when they got into the minor mishap. The accident happened between 3 and 4 pm.”

The spokesperson went onto say: “They were moving slowly and they didn’t even really feel anything when the accident took place. The car wasn’t damaged badly and nobody was hurt.”

With no apparent injuries, Eugene, along with the film crew, hopped onto a different bus to continue on their way to the film set.

I hope there isn't any more weather-related traffic accidents for the celebrities in the future.

Eugene Was Tempted To Go Under The Knife?

Former S.E.S member / idol turned actress Eugene has confessed that she is trying to fight off the temptation of getting plastic surgery.

The actress is currently shooting for a drama titled, "Creating Destiny," and said, "When I monitor myself from time to time I really get tempted to have surgery but I'm trying my hardest to resist it."

The 28 year old actress continued, "As I'm getting older, my skin is not the same as it used to be. I think I look less pretty in real life than on the television screen. Since it's my job to show my face on television, I cannot stop thinking about my physical appearance. At times when I look bad in pictures I say to myself, 'Should I fix my lips to be slightly bigger?'"

However, she mentioned that, "I have been strongly resisting the urge of having surgery and instead I am trying to become prettier by trying to lose weight. Even though I want to have surgery, I am afraid that the surgery might fail and ruin my face. I am currently restraining myself from eating meat and eating a lot more fruits and vegetables instead. "

Her last statement was, "I am not afraid of aging. Instead I am excited that I will soon become 30 years old. As I become older, I want to become a more mature actress and be different than everyone else."

I have to say I could not have been more proud of her as a fan. Eugene is a truly respectable actress and I hope for the best that her drama becomes a huge hit! I mean, she does not even need surgery. She is surely a natural beauty that stands out in the Korean entertainment world! And I know that South Korea has a reputation for being "plastic" but contrary to popular belief, South Korea is only ranked 27th when it comes to plastic surgery procedures per capita (19.654 per 100,000 people). Comparatively, Switzerland is tops (214.621 per 100,000 people), Hong Kong 6th (73.866 per 100,000 people), Taiwan 13th (43.889 per 100,000 people), Japan 18th (33.623 per 100,000 people), and the United States 19th (30.768 per 100,000 people). [NEWS] 090811 Eugene on DBSK-SM discord, “It is a pity that companies make use of new singers’ weaknesses”

Singer/actress Eugene talks about her views regard the discord between SM Entertainment and Dong Bang Shin Ki. She said in a recent interview, “Even though I don’t know the details, I hope both sides can settle this amiably.”

Eugene was from S.E.S under SM Entertainment debuting in 1997. S.E.S was one of the first girlgroups and had the concept of fairies and had made issues with their songs and costumes. After which, there were the other girlgroups like Fin.K.L, Baby VOX, Chakra. And then recently we have WonderGirls and So Nyeo Shi Dae etc.

Eugene said, “It is true that SM have a good training system for a big company. With that, there are many youths who wants to debut under these big companies and there are many cases of them signing long term exclusive contracts with the company. When the singers grow and develop, the contract should also change if not there will be piled-up unhappiness. It is a shame that companies take advantages of the weaknesses of these new singers.”

She added, “Recently when I look at the juniors, it seems that their schedule is so tight they can hardly breathe. It would be great if they are able to find happiness and influence through their entertainer activities and at the same time are able to improve on things like profits etc.”

Eugene is thinking of a comeback for next year

Former S.E.S member and actress Eugene says her most often requested thing from her fans is to return to the stage as a singer. After releasing her second solo album back in 2004, she has done no more singing and has kept acting only. She mentioned jokingly "When I was performing as a singer there wasn't much reaction...I'm considering returning as a singer next year when I am 30."

Eugene recently did appear with Bada as a singer, but it seems she's finally thinking about returning to the K-pop scene. I guess we can only cross our fingers that the hottest member from S.E.S will return.
