Song Joong Ki mistakes Song Ji Hyo for Sandara Park

Song Joong Ki discreetly revealed his interest to meet 2NE1’s Sandara Park on Running Man.

During the opening of the show, Song Ji Hyo came in as a guest for the second time. Seeing her from far away, Song Joong Ki thought she was Sandara Park and got excited.

He was quite sad after realizing that it was Song Ji Hyo and jokingly hurt her feelings.
Maybe she’ll come on the show sometime soon after this incident.

Song Ji Hyo still keeps in touch with Super Junior’s Heechul

Actress Song Ji Hyo attended a press conference this afternoon at the SBS building where she was unveiled as the new MC for SBS One Night TV Entertainment replacing Eom Ji Won who left the show to focus on her acting career.
During the press conference, Song Ji Hyo was asked if she still keeps in touch with Super Junior’s Kim Heechul as they both used to host Inkigayo together along with last year’s Dream Concert.
Song Ji Hyo responded by saying, “When I was MC of Inkigayo with Heechul, we really created some fun memories together. My scariest memory was my first time MC’ing the show… but I do still keep in touch with Heechul and we act like young siblings.”
Song Ji Hyo will host her first episode of SBS One Night TV Entertainment on the 29th.

2PM’s Nichkhun & Song Ji Hyo to hit up the Philippines

As many fans undoubtedly know, 2PM’s Nichkhun went back to his roots and visited Thailand for a vacation with his fans. Well, it looks like this won’t be the only international trip for Nichkhun this month, because he’s been scheduled to travel to the Philippines in a few days with actress Song Ji Hyo (Goong, The Book of Three Han)!

It’s been confirmed that Nichkhun & Song Ji Hyo will be completing charity work in the Philippines for MBC Danbi, a television program that features celebrities’ charitable sides with domestic & international acts of community service.

MBC Danbi, which kicked off last November, has featured a number of idols in the midst of community service in Asia and beyond. For example, BEAST’s leader Doojoon garnered much attention for his volunteer work in Africa, 2NE1 shed the spotlight on some of Korea’s everyday heroes, actress Lee Ji Ah completed charity work in Cambodia, and actress Kim Jo Soo will be joining the relief effort in Haiti soon as well.

The duo will leave for the Philippines on February 21 to begin the project; the episode is expected to air some time in early March. The exact details of the specific charity work haven’t been revealed to the public yet, but hey, that’s what makes watching the episode fun, right?
