Supernova cast in a Japanese movie

The last time we heard from the boy band Supernova was when they released their third collaborative single with T-aracalled Time to Love 3 or JP in Japanese a few weeks ago. They succeeded in entering the Oricon chart, and also steadily increased their popularity through commercials and more.

Now, Supernova has been cast as the leading roles of a Japanese movie called A Love Song To You or Kimi ni Love Song wo in Japanese. They will play the role of a famous Korean idol group. Sungje, in particular, will play the male lead and act alongside actress Minamisawa Nao.

A representative of Supernova said, “Even before their debut, the Supernova members have gone through singing, dancing and acting lessons. The members will all be acting in Japanese in this movie.”

T-ara and Supernova signed on as models for a 2 billion KRW Japanese endorsement project

6-member female and male idol groups T-ara and Supernova have been signed on as the models for a Japanese CF worth 2 billion KRW.

Coming 2nd March, a press conference will be held in Japan Tokyo to announce the signing on of the groups for the CF. T-ara and Supernova

All this while, it has been hard even for Hallyu stars to get CF endorsements in Japan, and more about the endorsement by T-ara and Supernova will be revealed during the press conference.

An official revealed, “Currently we are not able to reveal the name of the company. We will reveal it during the press conference.”

It has been known that this company is currently one of the more popular companies amongst young people currently, and this will be the largest marketing that the company has come up with since their establishment.

And a Core Media representative also revealed that a minimal of 1 billion KRW guaranteed is given to each of the 2 groups for this endorsement.

In addition, T-ara will be releasing a new song in Japan under the composer who did their song ‘T.T.L 2′ released last year. Coming 1st March they will be doing the recording, and the CF filming will be done in Japan until the 4th.

T-ara will be having their comeback performance on SBS Inkigayo on 28th February and after that they will be flying to Japan where they will stay for the endorsement work until 4th March.

Meanwhile, T-ara will be releasing their 1st repackaged album ‘Braking Heart’ on 23rd February, and Supernova will be releasing their 2nd full length Japanese album on 3rd March.

Winners at 38th, 39th Cyworld Digital Music Awards

The 38th, 39th Cyworld Digital Music Awards ceremony was held this evening in Seoul where awards were handed out to K-Pop artistes whose song was the most played for the past two months (August, September) on Cyworld.

Brown Eyed Girls won the 38th Cyworld Song of the Month for Abracadabra while G-Dragon picked up the 39th Cyworld Song of the Month for Heartbreaker.


T-ara won the 38th Cyworld Rookie of the Month for Lies while f(x) rounded up the night of winners with the 39th Rookie of the Month for Lachata. T-ara also won the ting's Choice Artist award with Supernova for TTL (Time to Love).

T-ara and Supernova Release TTL.Listen.2 MV Teaser

We have alread heard the full song and saw the leaked MV filming fancam previously. Ahead of their performance later today on Music Core, followed by the 2009 Dream Concert, Core Contents Media have released the official MV teaser for TTL.Listen.2 by the large mixed gender project group of T-ara and Supernova.

Promising to be entirely different from TTL (Time To Listen), this teaser gives us a preview of the song beat and their reworked dance cheoreography.

T-ara & Supernova TTL Listen.2 MV Leaked

After the release of T-ara and Supernova's second stab at their hit collaborative song, "TTL.Listen.2", fans have undoubtedly been anticipating the 180° transformations of T-ara and Supernova. The original version has achieved notable popularity, and it looks like the guys & gals are back for a second serving of success!

Although filming for the video took place just this Thursday, the lucky fans that got to witness the filming sneaked in some fancams to give us a preview of what's to come:



I'm totally loving the choreography, but I still can't help but wonder what the stylists were thinking for this music video. Sure, the BoA-esque sequined hoodie for Hyomin is cool, but is KwangSu's dishwasher glove really necessary? This boy's platinum blonde hair and eccentric fashion choice would make fashion victim trailblazer G-Dragon proud.

T-ara and Supernova Unleashes TTL.Listen.2

Ahead of their debut performance at the 2009 Dream Concert and music video release, the full audio of TTL.Listen.2 by the mixed gender project group of T-ara and Supernova has been released on the 9th.

Having received lots of love from fans for TTL (Time to Love), Core Contents Media has now prepared a sequel and upgraded version of the song, calling it TTL.Listen.2 and adding in Qri, Boram from T-ara and and Yunhak, Sungje, Sungmo from Supernova to make it a complete project group.

EVERYTHING has undergone a 180° radical transformation and you could see it from the MV filming pictures we posted yesterday. Now check out the huge difference in the new song compared to the original. It sounds edgier with a techno beat.

Supernova wants to be like TVXQ

Working with T-ara to form a project group isn't the only thing Supernova (Choshinsung) is up to these days. The 6 member boy group released a new Japanese single last week titled "Kimidake Wo Zutto" which got up to #5 on the Oricon Daily Charts, thus showing their efforts to penetrate the Japanese market.

To commemorate their efforts into Japan, Supernova held a special event on September 13th at the Higashi Ikebukuro Sunshine Plaza in Tokyo, Japan. More than 2,000 fans were in attendance and they performed three songs including their new single "Kimidake Wo Zutto." At the event Supernova stated, "We're going to work hard so that one day we can achieve number 1 on the Oricon Charts like TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki has. It's also a goal of ours to perform at the Tokyo Dome one day like TVXQ."

To be honest, I don't know too much about Supernova but judging by their new MV for "Kimidake Wo Zutto" and the moderate success it has received, it seems they have the look that'll appeal to the Japanese audience. T-ara and Supernova releases TTL (Time to Love) MV

We had reported last week that Mnet Media's T-ara and Supernova will be teaming up as a project group and release a digital single called TTL (Time to Love), the wait is now over with the release of their MV today.

The song TTL (Time to Love) is reported to be a southern hip hop style track, with an electronic sound and Korean melody and features Soyeon, Eunjung, Hyomin and Jiyeon from T-ara and Jihyuk, Kwangsu and Gunil from Supernova. Fans are looking forward to this as this is a follow-up to T-ara's debut and a return to the Kpop scene for Supernova after a 2 year absence.
