Big Bang plans to go their separate ways

Posted by Nez

No they aren't breaking up. That joyous day is still a distant dream that I cannot wait to see come to fruition, but that will have to wait. The members of Korea’s boy band Big Bang are planning on devoting most of their time to their individual solo activities for the next few months.

G-Dragon is working on his first solo album, that he’s also producing, which is scheduled to be released next month. TaeYang is planning on releasing his second solo album sometime after G-Dragon’s album; most likely right after G-Dragon’s album runs its course.

TOP and Seungri are taking a different route by stepping away from the mic (thank you God) and moving toward the acting world. Seungri will be starring in the movies “Why Did You Come to My House” and “71.” TOP will be acting in the drama “Iris” and both Seungri and TOP are slated to be in “My 19 Year Old” which is one of the many Japanese and Korean joint “telecinema” productions coming out this year.

No special plans have been announced for Daesung’s solo activities yet. He basically already has a successful career, independent from Big Bang, as a regular cast member of the highly popular variety show “Family Outing.” I’m sure he’ll stay busy filming that show while getting paid to spend time with Hyori, lucky bastard Thai Hooker.
