But the fact is that YG Entertainment CEO, Yang Hyun-suk abruptly announced today that the “Small Bang” will now be called “2NE1” instead of “21” (To Anyone). The “NE” refers to “new evolution.” Another original addition.
Why the change?
Most likely because “21″ would be confusing. And as an alert POPSEOULer commented, the girls are not going to be 21 forever.
So is “2NE1″ better than temporary name, “21″? We think the 4 member group should just be called, “Small Bang.”
