The members of KARA, who first came out as guests on the show, are pleased to announce that they will be the new MCs of the MBC's "Every1 Idol Show" Their first episode as MCs is to air on April 2nd. KARA's leader, Park Gyuri (23) said over a phone interview:
"There was a time when we came out as guests when Super Junior and 2PM were the MCs. Seeing them run the show so naturally made me want to become the MC. Everytime we went on the show, we were told that 'we would do well as MCs,' but we never even dreamt that we would actually become the new MCs. When we first heard the news, all the members were jumping with joy. Because, up until now, all the past MCs were male, we feel pressured that we will be the first female MCs. However, because our passion to do well is strong, we will do our best."
There is no really set concept of the show, for the games and activities change with every week. It's a show where different idol groups come out as guests every week and pair up and play games with the MCs, which are currently 2PM, who captured the hearts of many girls, as well as some guys, with this show. Sadly, 2PM's time is coming towards an end, as next week's episode will be their last. *sobs*
