“Boys over Flowers” get dissed in Japan

Posted by Nez

Er…a single measly minute on national television? That’s probably not even worth going to the studio for.

But, troopers of “Boys over Flowers” are willing to go at any length to promote their drama in Japan. On the TBS variety program, “Sakasusan” in Japan, the cast was introduced to the audience at the end of the show. The MC asked 2 questions, “How do you like Japan?” and “Can you speak Japanese” to which Kim Hyun-joong stepped up to answer. And then the show was over.

Korean netizens are pissed off at the unfairness. But, who really cares? To the Japanese producers of the show, obviously the adapted version of their own manga is not worth their time.
