2 music programmes cancelled over last weekend – what about the singers?

Posted by Nez

In lieu of the death of South Korea’s form president Roh Moo Hyun, MBC Music Core and SBS Inkigayo were cancelled. There are also news that there will be no M!Countdown on Mnet on 28th May.

This seems to have some effect on the Kpop realm as the singers will take these stages as chances for them to show their songs and dances – plans for some comeback and goodbye stages are also altered.

Son DamBi’s adios stage to be postponed for a week

Initially it was set for Son DamBi to have her goodbye stage on Music Core on 23rd May with the special remix performance of ‘Crazy’ and ‘Saturday Night’. But the programme was cancelled that day. And her company has set for the goodbye stage to be postponed for a week.

Newcomer 2NE1’s second stage

Topic-maker new singer group 2NE1 was set to have their 2nd stage since their debut stage on 17th May on SBS Inkigayo on 24th May. YG announced that 2NE1 will appear on music programmes once a week, and fans were anticipating for their 2nd stage and them coming back with a better performance.

But it seems that their 2nd stage will have to be postponed for a week.

Lee Jung Hyun’s comeback
Coming back after 2 years with a special stage performing 3 songs ‘Crazy’, ‘Vogue Girl’ and ‘Miro’, Lee Jung Hyun was set to heat up the stage on Music Core on 23rd May, but it seems that she will have to wait for the next chance to do so.

Lee Jung Hyun already had her comeback stage on KBS Music Bank on 22nd May. But this is the first time that the singer perform 3 songs in one stage. I guess fans will just have to wait till 30th May for the treat.
