Super Junior is really on fire. It's rare that a group wins four weeks in a row on Music Bank, but even rarer that they do it with two different songs. After winning K-Chart for the past 3 weeks with their hit song "Sorry Sorry", SM's largest family proved victorious once again during their first week of promotions for their new single "It's You".
I like how this performance had more emphasis on the vocals than their first performance did. You could hear all of the members sing clearly, even during the chorus - it turns out Heechul really can belt out that high note in the bridge, and Yesung's vocal virtuosity during the final refrain is all authentic baby. Even Kangin's hair improved from the first performance - he only looks 40 years old instead of 60.
The victory clip provides the usual teary SuJu members, with Eeteuk thanking the ELFs for their support. But Yesung, ever the stoic goof, provides a little twist when he steals everyone else's lines during the encore while staring blankly right in Donghae's grill. Is he trying to tell Donghae that "it's you?" Yesung's prankster personality is actually starting to poke out more often, as he recently punk'd both Tiffany and Yuri of SNSD on 1000 Song Challenge.
Kudos to CodeMonmon for the videos.
