The fate of the Wonder Girls lies in the moisturized-manicured hands of three brothers from Wyckoff, New Jersey. According to JYP Entertainment, The Jonas Brothers are “collaborating” with WG to create new songs for their upcoming concert as well as Wonder girl’s debut English album. I am sure it was difficult for JYP to allow some teenage boys to take the wheel, but no matter how many people rip on them they still hold enormous amounts of influence over the “tingling ginnies” of little girls across the country.
Now, I don’t want it to sound like I hate the WG. When I first “discovered” KPOP for myself they were one of the first groups I had fun following, learning more about, tracking their progress in the media etc. But this joining seems almost perfect. The Jonas Brothers heavily remind me of most “idols” anyway. They are completely adored by the United Prepubescent Masses, have limited vocal abilities, and are overrated to the point where all their critic’s lives are literally at risk thanks to their massive army of fan girls and boys.
