Unbelievable! Not even a month after its release, 2NE1's first mini album has been booming on charts as well as in sales! The album, known to have already sold 50,000 copies just two weeks after the release date, surpassed another handful of expectations, as the girls sold another 30,000 copies, making that a total of approximately 80,000 copies sold. Hot damn.
On various online music portal sites, their title track "I Don't Care" slipped up to the No.1 spot today, brushing away all other competition, including Jessica and Park Myung Soo's duet "Naengmyun".
YG Entertainment expressed their pleasure with the amount of sales and attention the girls have been receiving. They sent their appreciations to the people who helped work on the 2NE1's album, stage performance, and style.
