4minute make “Music” for Sony Walkman

Also…mini-album on the horizon?

With their latest endorsement deal with Sony Korea, 4minute is definitely on the up and up. The girls were selected to be the sound of Sony’s Walkman brand, contributing a new song titled “Music” to Sony’s advertisement campaign. The new commercial, featuring an unrecognizable Ryu Seung-bum as a scruffy urban DJ, includes a short snippet of “Music,” which was made by the producer of SeeYa’s “Hot Girl.”

Also, 4minute’s mini-album is expected to drop in the beginning of August, which will include “Hot Issue” and their new song, “Music,” on its tracklist.

Although noise cancelation sounds super cool in theory, during practical use, you might be like jogging with your Walkman and you might not be able to hear a car coming or a vicious dog on the loose…you get the picture. The Walkman does look quite sleek and smexy though; Sony’s really trying to step up their game in the mp3 player market.
