Big Bang postpones Japan tour but releases Japanese album

Posted by Nez

We reported earlier about Big Bang's Japan tour and them performing at Budokan later this year. Well, that has now been postponed because of Daesung's injury last week.

The initial diagnosis by doctors was that Daesung would only be out for 4 weeks, which left YG Entertainment feeling confident that Daesung would be able to make it for their Japan concert tour. But after going through a thorough examination which uncovered an eye fracture, doctors told YG Entertainment that Daesung would require an operation, followed by an additional four weeks of rest, making it a total of 8 weeks for recuperation.

With that in mind, YG Entertainment has decided to postpone the Japan concert tour till early next year. Big Bang's Japan schedule will be adjusted accordingly, while they observe Daesung's recovery from his injuries. This will also mean that the remarkable achievement by Big Bang of being the first Korean singer/artist to perform at Budokan in the short period of 4 months after debuting officially in Japan is no longer valid for now.

It's not all gloom for Big Bang fans as their 1st Japanese album was out today.
