At least the boys haven’t completely ceased all activities because of the issue with SM Entertainment.
DBSK’s Jae-joong and Yoo-chun will be featured in Japanese hip-hop duo M-flo’s upcoming tribute album. M-flo, having debuted back in 1999, has already been on the market for a hefty 10 years. To commemorate their 10 year debut anniversary, “M-flo TRIBUTE – maison de m-flo” will feature 10 different artists/groups. For this particular album, Jae-joong and Yoo-chun will participate in the album by contributing a duet track titled, “Been So Long“.
In addition, Jae-joong and Yoo-chun will be releasing a single of the duet song, “COLORS Melody and Harmony“, they performed at their Tokyo Dome concert on August 30th. The two will also be returning to Tokyo on the 20th to perform their duet at the “Boy Pop Factory 09” event in Zepp Tokyo.
Furthermore, “COLORS Melody and Harmony”, which both Jae-joong and Yoo-chun contributed to the composition and arrangement, has been selected as the “image song” to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the scary cat with no mouth, Hello Kitty’s birth. “COLORS Melody and Harmony” will be played throughout every “Sanrio” shop around the world.
Can you just imagine the amount of exposure the two will get from having their duet song played at every “Sanrio” shop around the globe? Congratulations Jae-joong and Yoo-chun! This news sort of makes me want to shop at the “Sanrio” store next month, just to see if the song will really be played.
