2NE1 to unveil newly arranged ‘I Don’t Care’ in musical style on MAMA

2NE1 will be performing their hit song ‘I Don’t Care’ in a musical style for upcoming ‘Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA)’ on 21st November.

The group debuted earlier this year collaborating with Big Bang with the CM song ‘Lollipop’, and went on to make a triple hits with ‘Fire’ and ‘I Don’t Care’. After which, the members from the group also had their solo singles released like Sandara Park with ‘Kiss’ and Park Bom with ‘You and I’ which all went up to the #1 spots on music charts.

And for MAMA on 21st, 2NE1 will perform on stage after taking a break from the Kpop scene for some time to prepare for their upcoming full length album, performing the song ‘I Don’t Care’ in a form of a musical. The song will also be newly arranged for this stage.

This is another special performance of the song, since the group have performed various versions of it like ‘electronic’, ‘house’ and ‘unplugged’ versions.

2NE1 said, “This is the first time we are participating in such a big scale music award ceremony, we are very excited and nervous. We will do our best for this performance, since it has been a while since we have performed it.”
