Ever since 4minute debuted, I've been a fan of Cube Entertainment. I'm really feeling the groups they are producing, even BEAST. And being a guy, it's hard for me to feel a boy band, but what the hell I'll admit it. I play "Bad Girl" on repeat and sing along to it on a daily basis. But it's not just the music, it's their personalities. Both of these groups seem to be genuinely sweet - 4minute especially (yes, I needed to emphasize 4minute.. otherwise you animals would rip me apart.. ha!).
With that said, these two rookie groups took time out of their busy schedules to show their support for the "Nongshim Spread the Love Charity" event, an event which has been 10 years in the running. For 1 night and 2 days, both groups voluntarily extended themselves to help out children in need, as well as assist in promoting this great event. Nongshim also made a donation of 100 boxes of Shin Ramen. A real feel good event and cause.
The love doesn't stop there though, on November 22nd at the Seoul Olympic Stadium, Nongshim will be throwing their annual "2009 Spread the Love Concert," in which approximately 20 various artists will perform for charity.
Tickets to this event will be virtually free, to attend you can register at Nongshim's concert event site (http://www.nongcon.com) and they will select winners via a random lottery. All you need to do is bring 2 packs of Shin Ramen, which will then be combined with Nongshim's donation of 1,000 boxes of Shin Ramen and given to people in need.
All in all a great event with lots of celebrity support. As Nongshim puts it, "If you spread the love, the world will radiate more brilliantly." It's nice to see news like this every once in a while, isn't it?
