Kara confirms 2010 album, plans to hold second Japanese fanmeet

Posted by Nez

Kara's really getting showered with love in Japan - after receiving an overwhelming amount of attention during ticket sales for their fanmeeting last month, DSP Entertainment revealed that the girls would extend the original showcase and add another one to the list.

As many of you may recall, the original fanmeet showcase was planned for a 1400 seat venue in Akasaka, Tokyo. However, when the tickets came out, 3000 people signed up, and the tickets sold out immediately. "The response in Japan has been greater than expected, we're so surprised," an official said.

So is an imminent Japanese debut at hand? "We will release a new album in January and focus on domestic activities [in Korea] for now," Kara's representatives said. "We have to take more time considering things before determining how to enter Japanese activities."

There are so many releases coming up in the next few weeks now - Kara, Lee Hyori, Kim Jong Kook and possibly SNSD and Taeyang to name a few. We've been bombarded with new artists for the past few months, who's ready for the big return of these artists?
