[Updates] JYP-JaeBum press conference news release: Netizens ask “What’s going on?”

It was announced early today that JYP Entertainment will hold a press conference coming 24th January and will be addressing 2PM JaeBum’s case.

But following the news, more news articles surfaced talking about: 1) how JYP have no plans for JaeBum’s return, 2) there are no plans for press conference on 24th January at all.

Many netizens have voiced their unhappiness about the confusion caused by all the news release.

2PM’s Jaebum – Unable to return?

Having withdrawn from 2PM last September, there is a higher possibility for Park Jaebum to not return.

On the 21st, an associate of JYP Entertainment stated that after a company meeting on the topic of Jaebum’s return, the direction that the company has chosen is for the inability for Jaebum to return.

Another associate stated “Should Jaebum not return to 2PM, there is a high possibility that he will be pursuing solo activities in Korea or America. JYP Entertainment will soon release their official statement on this matter.”

The agency of 2PM’s former member Park Jaebum, JYP Entertainment,
has denied reports of a press conference on the 24th stating, “No.”

An associate of JYPE stated through an interview with Money Today on the 21st, “We do not have any plans on releasing information about Jaebum’s current course of action or the company’s official stance.”

Other associates of JYPE also stated, “We have yet to hear anything regarding the company’s official announcement regarding Jaebum.”

There are rumors regarding 2PM’s leader who resigned, claiming that there was going to be a conference on the 24th. There is now news saying that he will come back through MBC’s program “Come to Play.”

On the 21st “Come to Play’s” Shin Jung Su PD said, “It is not confirmed yet, however, JYP representatives once had a conversation and said that if he is to come back, they want him to reveal the past situations on ‘”Come to Play.”
