On February 17th, TVXQ’s Best Selection 2010 album reached a sales figure of 228,542 units as they topped the Oricon Daily Chart. After achieving the Platinum status already with their single Break Out!, the RIAJ (Recording Industry Association of Japan) has given TVXQ’s Best Selection 2010 album a Double Platinum rating!
As you all know, the RIAJ states that a sales figure of at least 250,000 must be reached to achieve Platinum. Well, Best Selection 2010 album has reached over 500,000, twice the Platinum value, therefore achieving ‘Double’ Platinum.
