According to Asia Economic Daily, producers are casting another actor to replace Lee Junki since he plans to enter the military on May 3rd.
He is forced to drop his role for the upcoming drama Faith, which includes the cast of Kim Hee Sun and Philip Lee, and also the film Grand Prix, which had already been under production.
Last week, Junki’s agency announced that the actor had received a notice from Korea’s Military Manpower Administration and had asked to have his enlistment postponed to finish his current proejects, but the request was denied.
Junki is known for his role as Seo Jung Woo in the popular 2005 drama My Girl and his role in The King and the Clown.
