Fans Express Disappointment Towards Jokwon’s ‘The Day I Confessed’

Posted by Nez
2AM’s Jokwon released his single, ‘The Day I Confessed’ a few days ago, and unfortunately for him, his fans are expressing disappointment instead of approval towards the change in the lyrics in ‘Moving Song.’
In the digital single version of the song, the lyrics “Oh my god, oh my god, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh” were heard and approved by many netizens – but changed to “only these words come out” in the ‘Moving Song’ version.

The removal of these lyrics made listeners quite dissatisfied, as they claimed that the original lyrics were the best representation of Jokwon’s personality, and therefore the better line out of the two.

After reading comments such as “the highlights of ‘The Moving Song’ were those lyrics, but since it got removed, I’m disappointed” and “the lyrics which showed Jokwon’s kkabness the best got removed; it’s disappointing,” JYP Entertainment issued a statement to explain their decision in changing the lyrics up. “The episode that was broadcast last week was recorded before the official recording of the song ‘The Moving Song’; it was only a guide version,” they stated.

Adding on to what they had previously said, 2AM’s management company said that “the deletion of Jokwon’s cute narration in the song had already been deliberated,” thus implying that fans shouldn’t be so upset over the song edit.
