Kim HyungJoon Cries on the Radio Over Park YongHa’s Death

The sudden death of the Korean actor Park YongHa has jolted his friends, family and fans. The Winter Sonata actor was found hanging in his room with the use of a camcorder charger at 5:00AM last Wednesday.


On Thursday, SS501 singer Kim HyungJoon broke into tears while saying his opening remarks during the broadcast of SBS Power FM Radio “Kim HyungJoon’s Music High.”
In a heartfelt statement, Kim Hyung Joon said,

“Today was an incredibly hard day. So suddenly, I had to send off someone who was like a real brother to me. I can’t believe it. He was so nice to me and I wasn’t very good to him. I am so sorry. I hope you are well, brother.”

Listeners of the late night radio show expressed their sadness and paid condolences to Park YongHa. After they heard Kim HyungJoon’s tears on-air, the listeners sent in text and online messages to console him.
In related news, police presume that Park YongHa hanged himself at 3:00AM on Wednesday and was discovered dead on his apartment two hours after.
