Kim Min-hee was seen wearing it for a photo shoot for the fashion magazine, Oh! Boy, while UEE wore it to the official press conference for drama “”Birdie Buddy”. Kim Min-hee wore very minimal accessories with the check print dress and just wore a big ribbon hair piece. UEE to pack her bags and leave After School

Now before you all start lighting torches and throwing tomatoes, UEE is not actually leaving the group, but only leaving their household for her role in the upcoming drama Buddy Buddy.

Buddy Buddy begins filming on the 25th and to devote more of her time into the drama, UEE will be moving away from the members to a place in Kang Won Do. This will prevent her from living with her group for the time being.

A rep said, “To fully prepare for the role, she will be making a few adjustments to her life. So for the time being, she will be apart from the other After School members.”

It has yet to be decided whether or not UEE will join After School for their next comeback, but on the bright side, at least it’s better than her leaving the group, right?

GaHee’s shocking revelation, “UEE is the discipline master of After School”

After School GaHee gives a shocking revelation of fellow member UEE.

GaHee participated in the recent filming of SBS Strong Heart where she revealed, “I’m the leader of After School but recently there is a member who is scarier and holds more discipline power than me.”

It turned out that she was talking about UEE. UEE was seen flustered upon that revelation. GaHee said, “Recently we have 2 new maknae members joining After School, and one day UEE was watching the maknae members practising choreography and she called them an adjacent room.”

“I don’t know what happened but I was shocked to know from the maknae members the next day that they were disciplined.”

With that, GaHee reveals the story told by the choreography team who saw what happened in the adjacent room that day on the show.

The guest appearances on the show had all commented with “So surprising coming from UEE” etc.

Dirty UEE has a myriad of expressions

On the 29th, After School’s UEE demonstrated her acting skills on Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook through several facial expressions.

During the filming, MC Yoo Hee Yeol complimented After School by stating, “When you girls talk, you all seem innocent. But when you girls sing, you all have expressions that look as if you’ll eat me alive.”

To this, Jooyeon stated, “During ‘Diva,’ we had to have a happy yet sexy facial expression, but during ‘Because of You,’ we had to have sad expression, so we practiced our facial expressions a lot.”

Regarding the story of a dirty UEE, leader Kahi stepped up to explain how the full story got edited and made UEE seem… well, dirty. Kahi revealed, “UEE only got 1-2 hours of sleep daily because of all her drama filmings, After School activities, and dance practices. Because of that, she falls asleep as soon as she gets home.”

For the amount of time and effort she puts into her work, UEE more than deserves the love she has been receiving lately. If these photos don’t shut up all the haters who claim UEE only has one expression, then, frankly, I don’t know what will!

UEE admits to going under the knife

After School's UEE revealed a big secret about herself on a recent recording of Sang Sang Plus.

UEE said, "A lot of people ask me if I got plastic surgery after debut. My eyes are naturally uneven so I wanted to even them out. That's why I had a minor surgery on my eyes, that's it."

Another guest, Jung Ga Eun, who's had a lot of surgery done before said, "Yeah, I can tell she's only done her eyes."

UEE also talked about her experience on Queen Seon Duk. She mentioned how she came to play the role of a younger version of Go Hyun Jung's. She said, "People always told me I looked like her so they offered me an audition. I memorized lines for the role but then I didn't get to say them. I had to look at the sky and cry then look at a book and cry and that was it."

Poor UEE, but she shouldn't be too sad about that since her next role in a drama landed her a kiss with Jang Geun Suk.

This episode will air on the 5th.

After School UEE is MBLAQ Mir’s ‘Honey’?

MBLAQ Mir shows some affection for After School UEE.

Mir was on MBC Every1 ‘Idol Season 5′ aired on 16th December when he showed some affection for UEE. MBLAQ had their appearance on variety shows just 2 months into their debut and is doing well at that.

Go EunAh’s little brother Mir and member Lee Joon talks about an episode between them regarding female idol groups.

After watching KARA’s ‘Honey’, Lee Joon has shouted “Honey (in Korean)” and youngest member Mir replied instantly “UEE“. And when explaining why he answered “UEE“, Mir explained to Lee Joon that usually when he shows affection to UEE, he would shout “Honey”.

UEE is a dumb girl?

MC extraordinaire Yoo Jae Suk and Big Bang's Daesung, has dubbed After School's UEE a "Dumb Girl".

Now before you all start lighting your torches and try to storm down the Korean industry, you have to understand that "dumb girl" is just a rough translation. The mood and content of the nickname is purely comical and a feel good one. So what happened?

We all know by now how UEE and 2NE1 member Sandara Park graced the show Family Outing with their presence. Since then, UEE has been attracting the attention of most of the males. In the morning she would come out in a large sweater and teddy bear pajamas, with big glasses and a puffy face. Such a dorky image even had sexy icon Lee Hyori, who had been hilariously jealous of the spotlight stealing, cooing the maknae saying, "This is a real person."

Yoo Jae Suk and Daesung who have an ongoing joke as being the "Dumb & Dumber" brothers, were assigned to make breakfast with UEE.

She suggested they just dump all the ingredients into the pot and boil it, causing Yoo Jae Suk to say, "Well, let us pray it turns out good." And to this she responded by actually making an adorable praying motion. With this they dragged welcomed her into the "dumb" family by dubbing her as the "Dumb Girl".

She even showed encouragement when the "dumb" group lost hope in making food and decided to just order food. UEE suggested, "Let's just order jjahmbbong (a Chinese spicy hot noodle soup) and pour it in the pot, then they'll think we made it."

This idea only caused much laughter on the set.

Does the Family favour UEE?

The latest episode of Family's Outing featured two girls who are "in" right now, UEE of After School and Sandara of 2NE1. While the episode was a mildly enjoyable one, fans of 2NE1 are in an outrage over it - apparently we did not get to see enough of their beloved 4D.

In the beginning of the episode, it became quite apparent that UEE got used to the show more rapidly than Dara did, which might be the reason why throughout the show UEE is seen more often than Dara. Instead of feeling unfortunate about that fact that Dara wasn't so sure of what is expected from her in a reality show, some fans of Dara decided to shift the blame on the show's creators and more importantly, UEE. Fans argue that Dara did not get as big of a role as UEE on the show, all the regular members showed favour towards the After School member, and UEE did some things that were done in order to offend Dara such as putting eggs in a soup they cooked when Dara couldn't eat eggs.

Netizens have been joking that Family's Outing is a drama in guise of a reality show as the show's detailed script has been leaked in the past. Is it really fair to blame UEE for putting eggs in the soup when every line and movement made in the show are all scripted? I am not so sure, but the fans seem to be very sure about their actions. Dara's fans took a great offense to UEE and Family's Outing crew; they raided CyWorld of the former and feedback board of the latter, and UEE has actually shut down her CyWorld because of all the hateful messages scribbled on her page by the fans.

The situation is shaping up to be another example of the fans' misguided love for an artist, just like VIPs allegedly trying to create tension between SNSD and SHINee. People, isn't it time we matured a little?

Park Shin Hye and UEE are best friends off screen

If you guys have been keeping up with the popular idol drama, "You're Beautiful," you should already be aware that Park Shin Hye (Go Minam) and UEE (Yoo He Yi) are the greatest of enemies on it. But off screen, this is so not the case. In fact, the two are extremely close.

Although the two first met on the set of "You're Beautiful," they have become extremely close in the short period of time while filming. And even though UEE is two years older, Park Shin Hye is actually the senior in terms of acting, so both of them have shown lots of respect for one another.

A crew member stated:

"They are totally different from how they are in the drama, they are actually very good friends. Both Park Shin Hye and UEE are a bit sad that the filming is coming to an end, and they even made a promise to each other to hang out as soon as they were done. It was very heartwarming to watch."

So they don't hate each other... it would have been impossible to tell, especially with how good UEE is at playing the bitch role. I got to hand it to UEE though, she's definitely proven to be a great actress. And Park Shin Hye has just gotten her breakout role.


It's sad that "You're Beautiful" will be ending soon. But it's been a a fun ride!

Why was UEE cast for You’re Beautiful?

The idol drama "You're Beautiful" is very popular these days with a large variety of viewers. Out of the entire cast, the most hated character is probably Yoo He Yi played by After School's UEE. He Yi is a big celebrity who bothers main character Go Mi Nam about her hidden secret. Producer Hong Sung Chang revealed the reason for why UEE was cast to play the role of this hated character.

Producer Hong said:

"Many celebrities came to audition for the part of He Yi. When UEE was auditioning, without any warning, we told her to 'start crying' and she started to drop huge tears within seconds so I decided I would cast her right on the spot. I think I made a good choice the more I see UEE's acting."

Producer Hong also went on to compliment the entire cast on their performances and revealed a fun story. Because the entire cast are in their 20's, they are asked for autographs frequently from the staff members for their friends and relatives. So basically, during their free time, the actors are busy signing autographs.

"You're Beautiful" is definitely a successful drama and the cast is superb. UEE makes me hate her character so she is doing a great job, don't you agree?
