Moon Geun Young and Taecyeon banned from drinking

Why is actor Moon Geun Young prohibited from drinking?

It is due to her health. She was diagnosed with Hepatitis A in early March, and her immunity level had dropped. The doctor strictly told her to stay away from alcohol.

The problem is, on the first episode of Cinderella’s Sister, the nation’s sister might have to drink actual rice wine on a scene to make her acting more realistic. The thought of using real wine was however discarded, due to her doctor’s disapproval.

2PM’s Taecyeon (also part of the cast in the upcoming drama) was told to stay away from alcohol as well, which is pretty ironic, because he is part of a beer commercial.

Hmm… What could be the reason for Taecyeon not being able to drink?

2PM’s Taecyeon thought Moon Geun Young was younger than him

2PM’s Taecyeon and Moon Geun Young are working together for the upcoming drama KBS 2TV’s Cinderella’s Sister. In a recent interview with KBS 2TV’s Entertainment Relay, Taecyeon talked about his first impressions of Moon Geun Young.

Taecyeon said, “To be honest, I didn’t know Moon Geun Young was a nuna. People always call her the Nation’s Little Sister so I thought she was younger than me. I was shocked to find out otherwise. Now, she feels like a nuna because she’s always helping and leading me. I show a lot of aegyo as the maknae of the cast.”

Moon Geun Young commented that Taecyeon is very cute from her point of view.

I think they are making this out to be bigger than it is because she’s only a year older.

Moon Geun Young turns evil in Cinderella’s Sister

After hyping up Cinderella’s Sister with pictures of Moon Geun Young looking pure and innocent in a school uniform, more stills of her in her drama role were released today as it shows her making a radical 180° transformation.

Moon Geun Young is known for being the Nation’s Little Sister but it seems like she is ready to break out of her shell. Her character Eunjo is a girl that speaks with no censorship and has a cold expressionless smile.

The new pictures of Moon Geun Young shows the actress looking kind of scary. The messy hair, alcohol bottle and death stare is definitely a creepy mixture.

These pictures definitely got me more excited for the drama than I was before. The upcoming Wednesday-Thursday night drama will debut from March 31st and is starring other big name stars such as Chun Jung Myung, Seo Woo and 2PM’s Taecyeon.

Moon Geun Young in a school uniform for the first time in 6 years

Actress Moon Geun Young is putting on a school uniform for the first time in almost 6 years since her leading role in the romantic comedy film My Little Bride.

The actress is gaining much attention for reprising her role as a “cute student” for the upcoming drama Cindrella’s Sister. She looks quite stunning with her long beautiful hair and school uniform. On the day of filming, even the staff said, “She truly does look like she owns the role, and the uniform works perfectly for her.”

Besides the movie A Tale of Two Sisters, My Little Bride was Moon Geun Young’s major breakthrough film at the young age of 17. But it’s been a long time since then and the director has confidence in her acting abilities saying, “The 23-year-old Moon Geun Young is a totally different version of the 17-year-old that we all know and love. Her charisma is completely different and you’ll be able to see how much she’s matured and become more of a woman in this drama.”

Since her breakout film, she’s been dubbed as “Korea’s little sister” because she’s the kind of girl you’d want as a little sister. But it seems now that she may become “Korea’s older sister.”

Cinderella’s Sister unveils first promo shots

KBS has unveiled the first of many promotional shots for their new drama, Cinderella’s Sister which will make its debut on March 31st.

Moon Geun Young and Chun Jung Myung had filmed for the shots on the 19th at a resort in Gyeonggi-do where they showed vastly matured images as compared to their past. You could totally see that Moon Geun Young has shed that young girl image of hers for a more feminine mature look.

Cinderella’s Story has been greeted with wide anticipation among fans because even though it’s modeled after the popular fairy tale Cinderella, the drama will take a vastly different path to it. The drama marks the return of Chun Jung Myung from military service and also for Moon Geun Young after a two year absence from studies. The drama also stars Seo Woo and 2PM’s Taecyeon.

Moon Geun Young is Scarily Skinny

What happened to the cute, healthy Moon Geun Young I met in Young Bride? I guess everyone else liked that Moon Geun Young better too, because netizens protested rather strongly to her dieting statement on her homepage. In fact, they protested so heavily that she erased the statement. Her fans were very worried for her health because she seemed to have undergone some drastic weight loss. Her fans left comments saying things like "When studying, health is the most important. What are you going to do if you lose even more weight" or "I'm worried. Please make sure that you eat." After all of the comments, she erased the statement "Let's become skinny for sure!" and replaced it with "Let's become modest."
How about being honest about your anorexia before worrying about being modest? I know Korean female celebrities are known for being skinny and flat, but there is a line between having the body of a little boy and just looking creepy. I mean, those shoulders...she's got caves in her shoulders! I won't even mention anything below her shoulders because -- let's face it -- there just isn't anything to mention.
