Music Forum Mnet.com revealed on the 17th that 2AM has been ranked #1 for 3 consecutive weeks and that they set the new record for the most visited artist website.
According to the Mnet Report, the amount of visits to the 2AM page in the last month has been at least 10 times the average amount, with about 25,000 visits. Teenagers had a lot of influence. About 38% of the visits were made by teenagers and about 20% were made by those in their 20's. About 64% of the visits were made by females, which leads them to assume that 2AM's soft voices appeal to the females a lot.
An Mnet Media employee stated that according to the music business guide, Pink Paper, although 2AM falls behind other idol singers in the dance, looks, and the performance department, their voices made up for it. The fact that their new title song, "I Can't Let You Go Even If I Die," matched their voices so perfectly may have added to the success of the song.
Their new song beat out SNSD and has been ranked #1 for the past 3 weeks and was ranked #2 overall in the artist chart. Three of their songs are in the top 10.
Also, although SNSD's "Oh!" is ranked #2, the songs "Star, Star, Star" and "Show! Show! Show!" are ranked #13 and #25, respectively. 2NE1's "Try to Copy Me" is ranked #1 on the download chart, beating out SNSD.
Min Kyung Hoon's "It's Love Because It Hurts" went up 47 spots, ranking at #5. Untouchable's song "Live in my heart," with BEG's Narsha featuring went up 81 spots and is ranked at #19. Additionally, despite the rumors of plagiarism, CNBlue's "I'm a Loner" is still popular.
