ChungRim invites 100 fans to his 100th day debut anniversary fanmeeting

In lieu with his 100th day debut after releasing the minialbum ‘Step’, ChungRim will be inviting 100 fans to his fanmeeting.

He will be holding the fanmeeting on 9th August in a small theatre in Seoul JongRi and the first 100 fans to arrive will be invited in for his fanmeeting.

That day, ChungRim will be performing the songs off his debut minialbum and also be singing a new acoustic version of ‘Only in my heart’ from the album.

Currently, ChungRim is modeling for ‘JamBangEe’ together with Han HyoJoo.

He is also appearing for SBS drama ‘Dream’ together with other pretty boy artistes like Marco, Julian Kang, HyunWoo etc.

Chung Lim Has Good Taste

It seems that no one is safe from the charms of the hottest female kpop artists these day - not even rising star Chung Lim!

On KBS JOY, Chung Lim revealed that he had encountered Son Dambi at health clubs and practice rooms more than once. He stated that "I will not abandon So Nyeo Shi Dae's Tiffany.", but when challenged with the question of choosing between the two, he went on to say that he would go for the sexy soloist Son Dambi.

Chung Lim's fanboying does not end there! It turns out that he was quite the Bi / Rain fan back in the day. He went out of his way to learn everything about Rain, down to his Hong Kong concert schedule that wasn't even available for the viewing public. Chung Lim eventually had a chance to meet up with the mega star, but chickened out and only said "Hi." He does hope that he will be able to develop a strong relationship with Rain in the near future though.

Chung Lim working with MC Mong’s girlfriend?

It has been released that Chung Lim is working with MC Mong MC Mong's girlfriend Joo Ah Min for his music video. In this music video, Chung Lim will be shown as a boy who works at a car workshop and dreams about being a car racer. Joo Ah Min will portray a young woman who works at a motorcycle painting shop and dreams about being a world famous show bike rider. Apparently MC Mong also stopped by during the filming to cheer on Chung Lim his girlfriend and surprised the staff.

On the other hand, Chung Lim is also planning on appearing in the new SBS drama 'Dream'. For all you Chung Lim fans, you guys are getting an eyeful.

Chung Lim vs. AJ vs. Taegoon Rookie Dance Battle

Another special stage on this week’s Music Bank was the Rookie Dance Battle between the rising stars Chung Lim, AJ, and Taegoon.

The battle started out with each rookie performing a short solo dance with Chung Lim going first, followed by AJ, and then Taegoon. The dance battle ended with all three rookies dancing together. Check it out.

Honestly, none of them wowed me with their dancing skills. Chung Lim’s solo dance, if you can call it that, looked lazy and uninspired. AJ’s solo dance was alright but I think he could’ve been a little more creative. If I had to choose a winner I would say it was Taegoon. I think his solo dance was the best, but not by a wide margin. From my perspective, it was a close battle between AJ and Taegoon but the acrobatic move that Taegoon did at the end of his solo dance won him the first place spot in my book. Although like I said before they all seemed to be lacking, some more so than others, but what do I know. Truthfully, I’ve got two left feet…actually three left feet if you want to count my third leg. That’s right ladies, I can’t dance but I make up for it with my tripod like action I got going on. True story.

Chung Lim confirmed for SBS Dream

Just like Son Dambi, newbie singer Chung Lim will be putting his singing career on the backburner as he will be joining the cast of SBS sports themed drama Dream which will be airing in August (depending on Ja Myung Go schedule). Chung Lim who made his debut as a singer in March with his title song Step, will be playing a mixed martial arts fighter who has a handsome appearance. He started training himself up since the beginning of May with martial arts lessons, so as to make his acting as realistic as possible plus if certain scenes require him to go topless.

SBS Dream is a story about a youth, Lee Jang Suk (Kim Bum) who spent time in a juvenile detention center for picking pockets, and his journey to be a top boxer after he was released, with the help of a sports agent, Nam Jae Yul (Joo Jin Mo). The drama has been claimed by sections of the media as the Korean version of Jerry Maguire although the plot of Dream is nothing like it. Besides Kim Bum, Joo Jin Mo, Son Dambi and Chung Lim, others that has been confirmed for the drama include Marco (of We Got Married fame), Julien Kang, Choi Yeo Jin and Oh Dal Soo.

Unlike Son Dambi who will be acting for the first time, Chung Lim has actually had some experience in acting but he was dancing most of the time instead of acting though.

Chung Lim Abandons Friend For a Girl!

Chung Lim, a candidate for allkpop's Top 10 Hottest Male Star Under 25, is keeping busy with preparations for his next single. Just in case you didn't know, his last single was "Step", a dance number with an excellent dance break that often changed during live performances.

Chung Lim was recently caught filming the music video for his second single "씹다버린 껌" or "Chewed Gum", a mid-tempo R&B style song. It looks like Chung Lim is out to fix the mistakes on his last music video which were not showing enough skin, and including a guy with a mustache that made it seem like he could speak Spanish.

Case in point.
This time around he made sure to wear nothing but a tank top, and even ditched his mustache wielding friend for the beautiful Yoo In Young.

Not letting this rare opportunity go to waste, Chung Lim managed to squeeze in a romantic kissing scene with actress Yoo In Young toward the end. Sneaky sonnamabeech.

Chung Lim is The New MC

Newcomer Chung Lim has been appointed as the new MC for "M Super Concert" along with the chunky ice skating wannabe Solbi.

The concert will be held on June 20th at Osan University and there's around 5,000 seats available at the venue. 2PM, 2AM, Jo Sung Mo, Jun Jin, Chae Yeon, U-Kiss, Defcon, AJ, and UPT (Uptown) are all scheduled to have performances. This is an important moment in Chung Lim's career because many eyes will be watching the rookie closely. Most of the audience members has never seen or heard Chung Lim outside of his performances so this is a rare opportunity for his personality to shine... or fail.

It's going to be interesting seeing him actually talk in front of the camera rather than seeing him perform. He certainly has the dance moves but does he have the personality to bring him to the top? Magic 8 Ball says... Outlook, Not So Good. But we'll find out soon enough.

AJ and Chung Lim get together on Music Bank

The Last time rookies AJ and Chung Lim got together was on M! Countdown when they paid tribute by performing as Rain / Bi and Se7en. This time around they're acting as themselves.

On the May 1st edition of Music Bank, AJ performed his "Dancing Shoes" and Chung Lim performed "Step," throughout both performances they got together and danced simultaneously on the same stage.

It's good to see these two young talented rookies get together and support each other. The next generation working together much like the previous one.

New singer to watch out for - Cheong Rim

New singer Chung Rim has release the teaser video to first debut album title song ‘Step’.

The video was released on 15th March on various portal sites and its has attracted more than 5000 views by curious netizens.

Before Cheong Rim’s debut, he was known to the netizens as C. He is known for his power dance and his pretty face, and was said to be one of the new singers to look out for in 2009.

Chung Rim will move on to promote his debut album.
