Andy sends a message to DBSK

Sounds like he knows what he’s talking about.

In a recent interview with “Sports Dong-A“, Shinhwa member Andy gave his two cents on the current legal troubles going down between DBSK and SM Enertainment.

For those unaware, Shinhwa had their own messy split from SM Entertainment a few years back. After buying out the rights to their name and switching companies, the “legendary” idol group managed to make a successful comeback releasing several successful albums in the following years.

In response the situation Andy said:

“Leaving the company is the second trial which is harder from the debut time…It will be hard, like having to debut all over again.”

Having started a label of his own (ND Entertainment), the “single man” was able to speak on the topic from both the idol and executive point of view.he expressed his desire to see DBSK and their fans bounce back, he did give SM some credit, stating:

“Idol groups that gained popularity quickly think that their efforts are what’s important, but still thinking that it is dangerous…You must acknowledge the fact that the company has capabilities and talent.”

Thus far, Andy is the second Shinhwa member to weigh in on the DBSK situation. Lee Min-woo also gave the group some advice a few months back.

Lee Min-Woo said, "(TVXQ) are excellent juniors that I recognise. A few months ago, they even had a chat with me about problems in life... I could tell that the members have very deep feelings for the group. At the back stage, they would hold each others' hands and pray, say good luck; the way they cheer each other on is very similar to us. (T/N: He meant Shinhwa) Because they are a group which has very good team spirit, I believe in TVXQ."

"My dear younger brothers, TVXQ does not just belong to TVXQ. Don't think too much and over-complicate things, just keep thinking about your fans who have spent precious times with you and who have always protected you.

Lee Minwoo Opens a Bar

Shinhwa's Lee Minwoo has successfully broken into the fashion industry and now has his sights set on succeeding in the bar business. The bar's name is "Gaepan" and is located in Cheongdam-dong, where he hopes to establish a place where his friends and staff can chill and have fun. How very kind of him. He even comes on weekends, if he's not too busy, to personally help around and operate the business.

So, Lee Minwoo the entrepreneur. Not only does he have his own talent agency, deal with his own solo activities as well as train fresh talent in his company, and create new designs for Wolf M, but he's also got to add the new bar to his flashy resume. Not too shabby for a guy that's barely 30. He's currently preparing his promotional activity for his latest solo endeavor and mini album, Minnovation, which will be released June 23rd with only 18,000 limited copies, so you better hurry up and reserve yourself a copy!

Lee Minwoo’s back with ‘Minnovations’

After failing to garner much acclaim with his 2008 "M Rizing" project album, Shinhwa's Lee Minwoo is back with his mini album project, Vol 4.5: MINNOVATION. Hoping to redeem his self-induced failure with "Don't Trust Men." Minwoo and a yet unnamed producer from America will be working together to produce an electronica track with hints of a hip hop beat.
