MBLAQ’s Lee Joon shows off his back

MBLAQ's Lee Joon is known to have chocolate abs, as he tries to show off by lifting up his shirt every chance he gets, but now it seems he wants people to take notice of his back.

Kim Joon struck by H1N1 virus

Having been cleared of having H1N1 earlier in the month, it looks like Kim Joon cannot escape his fate as it was revealed late on 26th November that he has tested positive for H1N1. This brings to a total of 3 celebrities who have tested positive for H1N1 on the 26th, with earlier confirmed cases being SHINee's Taemin and MBLAQ's Thunder.

According to a representative from Planet 905, Kim Joon is now in hospital receiving treatment, which includes the taking of Tamiflu. His condition is currently stable although there's considerable impact to Kim Joon's upcoming broadcast schedule in Korea and overseas, including a 2D1N trip to the Philippines for a fanmeeting on the 30th.

With 30th November still a few days away, a decision will be taken soon accordingly, depending on Kim Joon's recovery speed and health condition.

Kim Joon of Boys Over Flowers headed to the Philippines

Back in October, Kim Bum of Boys Over Flowers fame went to the Philippines. Now, it seems another member of the F4 will be headed there as well.

Because of the high popularity of Boys Over Flowers in the Philippines, Group 8, the producers of Boys Over Flowers has set up a meet & greet / fanmeeting session with Kim Joon for the fans in the Philippines. It'll be a Thrilla in Manila (minus the boxing) as Kim Joon is scheduled to meet fans on November 30th. Kim Joon is back with T-MAX!

T-MAX will be returning with a concert after 2 long years and luckily for them, with Kim Joon's recent popularity through Boy over flowers, things are looking good!

3 member band T-MAX will be returning on August 28th, 2009 at 7:30PM KST to put on their first Korean concert at the Seoul YoungDeungPo Art Hall. Prior to this concert, the band put on a concert in May in Japan at the Harajuku Astro Hall, called "T-MAX First Live." They even held concerts in Taiwan and Hong Kong, to establish themselves as a "Hallyu band."

T-MAX's label Planet 905 stated:

"Because of T-MAX's overseas activities, there wasn't many opportunities to meet with domestic fans. With this event, we are hoping T-MAX can meet with domestic fans once again. T-MAX will also be preparing a surprise event for this concert, so we hope fans will highly anticipate it."

Who's a T-MAX fan? And if you are, it is just because of Kim Joon's BOF fame?

Kim Joon is Next on Mnet Scandal

T-Max member and Boys Over Flowers actor Kim Joon is scheduled to appear next on the heartbreaking show Mnet Scandal. Photos of him and his very pretty make believe girlfriend have been released.

I know, I know. It just never ends, right? Haven't we fangirls suffered enough? 2PM Thai hottie Nichkhun broke plenty of hearts on his date, while fellow 2PM member Taecyeon went all out and actually kissed his date. F.T. Island's Lee Hongki and 2AM's Jokwon and Seulong were also previously on the show. With the addition of Kim Joon, it looks like we'll be sitting through some more torture. So go ahead and refill that Kleenex box, I won't judge.

Kim Joon’s Jun Be, Ok Debut

It's been a while since we heard from F4 alumni, Kim Joon after he had released his solo song, Jun, Be Ok on 14th July, and included in T-Max's album. But finally, Kim Joon is embarking on his promotional schedule starting with Mnet M! Countdown on 23rd July, and will continue throughout the week on Music Bank and Inkigayo (?).

We know that Kim Hyun Joong added some appeal to Kim Joon's solo by appearing in his music video. But the always forgotten F4 member, Kim Joon looks equally capable to cut it on his own, what do you think of his performance?

Kim Jun’s MV teaser

He tries to ham man it up for you, ladies.

The teaser of Kim Jun’s new track, “Jun Be OK,” featuring F4 buddy Kim Hyun-joong has been released! The teaser is only about 30 seconds long and doesn’t show much of Kim Hyun-joong, but you can see that they are both trying to look much more manly that they did in “Boys Over Flowers.” The song itself doesn’t sound too bad, but theres nothing really special about it either. T-Max’s “Single Collection” album, featuring solo tracks from all the members, will be released on July 9th.

Kim Joon changed after Boys Over Flowers

According to the T-Max group members, Kim Joon has changed ever since he played Song Woo Bin in the drama Boys Over Flowers. Leader Shin Min Chul revealed "Ever since Kim Joon became an F4 member, he has changed a lot. I can reveal it now. Before he started acting, he would always ask me (the leader) everything, but now he does not give in and is much more confident. He also says "Don't worry. I'm F4." rather comfortably."

Aside from this, the group also talked about the time when they had to introduce themselves as the 'Dancing SG Wannabe'. The group mentioned "When we think about it now, it's really embarrassing. The company president said that we need to make this our motto because at the time, SG Wannabe was a popular, three-member group. We had to introduce ourselves as 'Dancing SG Wannabe' because we weren't particularly good enough at dancing to be called idols." Well, it's good to know that they weren't the ones that though 'Dancing SG Wannabe' was a good saying because then we'd have some problems. But really, I hope the boys are just joking around because it is true that Kim Joon is the reason why they are even noticed nowadays. He basically saved their dying career as semi-idols.

Kim Hyun Joong lends Kim Joon a helping hand

Despite his frequent trips to hospital plus an unrelenting schedule with SS501, Kim Hyun Joong still took out time to show us his deep friendship bond with fellow F4 member, Kim Joon, which was formed during filming for Boys Before Flowers. (note: Hyun Joong has vampire eyes?)

Kim Hyun Joong recently took part in the filming of the MV for Kim Joon's solo song titled Joon, Be Ok! (or Ready, OK!), with the latter getting some tips from Hyun Joong while also expressing the immense amount of stress that he was facing. Hyun Joong said, "Hope that my appearance (in the MV) will bring him some needed strength."

According to Planet 905, "Kim Hyun Joong and Kim Joon have similar backgrounds in the entertainment industry, be it acting, solo songs, etc, so they are able to understand each others' situation very well. Hyun Joong wanted to show his support despite his busy schedule." Kim Hyun Joong had also appeared at Lee Min Ho's fan meeting, showing the deep friendship that he has formed with the other F4 members.

Kim Joon's solo MV starring Kim Hyun Joong will be out on 9th July. Kim Joon's solo song will be included on T-Max's new album, out on the same day.

Lee Min Ho’s Minoz Happy Day Mini Concert

Lee Min Ho who was elevated into prominence after his leading role in Boys Before Flowers, held his first fan meeting to celebrate the occasion with his fans. The fan meeting titled Minoz Happy Day mini concert was held on 21st June at Seoul's Dome Art Hall. At his fan meeting, Lee Min Ho expressed, "This is my first fan meeting since my debut 3 years ago, so I feel very excited just standing here. I will become a Lee Min Ho that will not disappoint everyone."

The fan meeting was divided into 2 sessions, 1 and 5pm due to an overwhelming response which included over 200 fans from Taiwan, Thailand, Japan among the 4,500 contingent. Kim Su Ro, Park Bo Young (no pictures at all), Kim Hyun Joong, Kim Joon who had acted with Lee Min Ho also appeared in this fan meeting to add some star factor. Other guests include his vocal instructor, K.Will and Min Ho's mother.

To thank his fans, Lee Min Ho sang his own song, My Everything from the F4 Special Edition album and Kim Yeon Woo's Boys Before Flowers. K.Will who had given Lee Min Ho special vocal training said, "Lee Min Ho has very good vocals originally but it really makes one happy to hear him singing it so beautifully well."





Being thoughtful and considerate that most of his foreign fans might have problems with the language, Lee Min Ho prepared a special Nanta (Korean drum performance, where they don't use drums)performance for them. Fans gave Lee Min Ho gifts of many different varieties and also celebrated his 23rd birthday, a day before his actual birthday (22nd June) by singing the birthday song for him. But once again, the 4 members of F4 were not united again, as Kim Bum couldn't make it because of his filming schedule. But he still showed up in the form of a pre-recorded congratulatory video.

Kim Hyun Joong to star in MV to Kim Joon’s new solo song

If things progress fast enough, Kim Joon together in the group T-Max will release a new album coming end-June. And in the album will be a solo song by him, as of the other T-Max members as well.

And especially for the MV of Kim Joon’s solo song, Kim Hyun Joong, who was part of the F4 group in drama Boys Over Flowers with Kim Joon, will be starring as the male lead to the it.

It has been 2 months since the drama Boys Over Flowers ended, but the F4 honor and loyalty continues in its members.

T-Max’s company said on 10th June, “T-Max will release a new album end-June to early July. And in the album, the members will have their solo songs. Kim Joon is the first member to finish his recording. Coming 12th, he will be shooting for the MV in a set in GyeongGiDo. And Kim Hyun Joong will be the male lead to the MV.”

Kim Joon is Going Solo

Kim Joon has decided to stay a singer and release a solo song. Plans are to have his song finished by the end of June and included in T-Max's new album. This album will only contain solos from all of the members, but of course Kim Joon is getting the most attention. This is technically his official comeback as a singer because his earlier stage was more of an event for Boys Over Flowers. His company announced "T-Max will release their new album late June or early July. This is a special album that will only contain solos. Kim Joon has finished his song first and will begin filming his music video on the 12th." Furthermore, Kim Joon is appearing on television less in order to get ready for his singing activities. Guess this means no more comedy as well.

And just because I love you guys so much...or at least myself, I'll give you guys something to drool over.

Kim Joon Does Comedy?

Looks like Kim Joon is getting fed up with small acting roles and nonexistent singer fame because the poor boy is branching off into comedy as well. He surprised viewers by appearing on SBS Oot Cha Sa and it looks like they remembered my lovely boy toy. He did a couple of gags, danced a little, and stood around being utterly delicious. What more could I ask for?

Boys Over Flowers ...Again

It just won't stop. It's Boys Over Flowers / Boys Before Flowers once again, but this time in Japanese... sort of. Lee Min Ho and Kim Joon were featured in a photo shoot for Samsung Haptic, while the full F4 were featured in a yet unknown Japanese magazine.

The photo concepts for the Lee Min Ho and Kim Joon photo shoot looks similar to that of SS501 U R Man concepts. Maybe a bit of the Late 70's / Early 80's flavor mixed it. There's also a little bit of the bromance seen from the Super Junior photos.

Don't these poses look like those junior high school pictures the popular kids used to take with their friends at the mall after school? Well, maybe it was before some of your time. Anyways, check out the photos below.

Samsung Haptic Mission Season 2 Preview

Samsung's Anycall Haptic Mission CF Season 1 featuring F3 members (Kim Bum, Kim Hyun Joong, Kim Joon) and Son Dambi was a big success for Samsung. Well, because of this success, they've decided to make a Season 2. This time around there's going to be a new F3 as F4's leader Lee Min Ho will be replacing Kim Bum. The replacement comes because Kim Bum recently signed with Samsung's Korean rival, LG. Season 2 should be a big hit as well, it's scheduled to launch on May 27th. Check out the previews below:

F4’s Lee Min Ho and Kim Joon whoop it up

On May 17th Boys Over Flowers F4 alumni Lee Min Ho and Kim Joon were spotted together at the “Club 2X 2Xtreme 20" party in Seocho-Dong, Seoul. The party was held to celebrate the opening of the new club, which was actually the same club where Lee Min Ho and Jessica Gomes filmed a few scenes for their Cass Beer CF.

Korean hip hop legend Tiger JK along with his wife T (Yoon Mi Rae) also attended the party but, unfortunately, the lovely Jessica Gomes didn’t make it to the bash. Instead, there was a gaggle of hoochies at the party but I don’t think twenty of the easiest hoochies could take the place of one Jessica Gomes.

Those hoochies were probably all over Lee Min Ho and Kim Joon like stink on shit. The Boys Over Flowers actors most likely could’ve setup an orgy with the hoochies if they wanted to. I can imagine Lee Min Ho and Kim Joon walking into a Rome inspired bedroom, F4 style, with the hoochies waiting on the bed while that gay-ass Paradise song is playing in the background. The hoochies, or any F4 fan girl for that matter, would probably “almost paradise” in their panties before the F4 dudes even touched them, if they were in that situation.

Kim Joon and Gook Ji Yun Are Ready For Summer

Earlier in February, we reported that Kim Joon and Gook Ji Yun were chosen as Omphalos' main models for 2009, but they're back and ready for summer. Kim Joon is looking as delicious as ever and Gook Ji Yun isn't looking too bad herself. I only have two issues with the photos. One, the lipstick Gook Ji Yun is wearing...yeah, it isn't working for her. Secondly... Gook Ji Yun, back away from the boy before I come after you with a baseball bat. Even if you have gotten prettier, I'm still not feeling a threesome, so I'm afraid I'll have to monopolize that ass of his (and everything else that's attached).

F3, Son Dambi, CF/MV, Hyun Joong Happy

Even though Boys Before Flowers wrapped up over a month ago, F4-mania refuses to go away. Whether they're filming over-hyped epilogues or literally becoming their characters, these guys just can't stay out of the news. Of course, they won't be real superstars until we at allkpop analyze their nether regions.

Now F3, aka everyone other than Lee Min Ho, has joined forces with Son Dambi to create a CF/MV for Samsung called "Mission No. 4". The MV summarizes the concept of a couple promo-episodes Samsung had for their Haptic phone: the four entertainers working as newbie Samsung employees. It's no surprise that Samsung Anycall phones are the #1 selling brand in Korea when they keep churning out these novel marketing ideas. I do feel sorry for all of the mortal women who have to stand next to Son Dambi in the MV though. She looks like a Greek goddess; they look like Greek philosophers. As the great Danny Cho once said, "I like Son Dambi, she's hot."

The most unintentionally hilarious part of the music video is when Dambi busts out her dance from "Saturday Night".
...and what could the next shot possibly be?
