Popular group Arashi's latest single "Believe/Kumori Nochi, Kaisei" has achieved sales of 502000 within a week since its release, clinching the 1st place in the weekly ranking for singles for the week of 3/16. For Arashi, it has been 9 years 4 months since their single "A.Ra.Shi", and 3 years since Kat-Tun's "Real Face" single in 06/4/3, that a single managed to achieve more than 500,000 sales in a week, overtaking Akimoto Junko's "ai no ma ma de" as the no.1 single of the year till date.
The single includes the theme song of "Yatterman" acted by Arashi member Sakurai Sho that was screened on 7th March, and the theme song of Ohno Satoshi's drama "Uta no Oniisan". Within 2 days of release, the single have clinched the top single of the year till date from Akimoto Junko's "ai no ma ma de". Since Arashi's "Pikanchi Double" released in feb 2004, this is the 14th consecutive time among their 21 singles that they clinched the 1st position upon their single debut, refreshing their personal record.
