Although 2PM is going through great controversy due to leader Jaebeom's leave, in regards to advertising, their issues haven't been affecting their popularity at all.
Marketeers and advertisers have been sending tons of love calls for 2PM to endorse their products. Known as the "Beast Idols," they have gained a significant following and fan base with various age groups.
Typically, idol groups usually have a teenage fan base, but 2PM is different. Because of their manly charisma and their lack of fear in showing who they really are on camera, they have been able to receive much love from fans in the 10s, 20s, and 30s, as well as a large male fan base.
I'd have to agree, they truly are marketable to a wider audience than your typical idols. Anyway, it's nice to see some positive news, am I right?
