Before his fame, the cute main high schooler from MBC’s “High Kick Through the Roof” had a famous friend: F.T Island’s Lee Hong-ki.
In a truly “Oh, that’s who that was” moment, netizens have finally realized that Yoon Shi-yoon was Lee Hong-ki’s friend on MBC’s “Introducing Stars Friend” on May 9, 2009. Most Koreans know that the stars’ friends on “Introducing Stars Friend” are usually not really friends but just acquaintances who are trying to get into the entertainment business. For Yoon Shi-yoon, he was introduced to Lee Hong-ki through a composer friend, and Yoon Shi-yoon was trying to get into acting.
At the time of taping, Yoon Shi-yoon was well-liked because he resembled Lee Jun-ki.
Seems like the show worked out for Yoon Shi-yoon!
“High Kick Through the Roof” supporting character Kwang Soo also appeared on an August broadcast of “Introducing Stars Friend,” as one of Boom’s (many) friends. Seems like netizens don’t really care as much about that friendship though…
