U-Kiss has been having some great success in Thailand!
The now 7 member group had a comeback stage for their new single "Man Man Ha Ni" on KBS2TV's Music Bank this week. Their previous single "Bring It Back 2 Old School" featuring the single "I Like You" was promoted over in Thailand during their break from the Korean scene.
This past October 29th, U-Kiss was being very active in Thailand, spending 5 straight days holding fan meetings, doing mini-concerts, holding showcases, appearing on TV shows, guesting on radio shows, doing a photo book shoot, having interviews, holding a press conference, attending a signing event, and many many other things, all packed into just 5 days!
Their numerous Thai fans surprised the group when they sang their two previous singles "I Like You" and "Talk to Me" from beginning to end in Korean and some fans had even had the entire dance memorized!
The successful completion of the first international promotions for U-Kiss was seen as a big positive for the future of the band. "The Thailand promotions for U-Kiss were amazing. The fans singing along in Korean and dancing was really surprising. We are very thankful for you guys because even with a completely jam packed schedule, we were able to enjoy our promotions. If all of out international fans could match you guys, it would be awesome."
In 2008, "True Music," a big music show in Thailand, held a popularity poll for K-pop artists. To everyone's amazement, U-Kiss pulled the win over the Wonder Girls in a huge upset.
