After the successful parody of “Boys Before Flowers”, FT Island comes back again with another parody for tonight (Thursday, 12 March 2009)’s Mnet M!Countdown.
This time, the boyband is to parodize popular SBS daily drama, “아내의 유혹” (english title = “Cruel Temptation”, or sometimes referred to as “Temptation of Wife” as well).
Lee Hongki is to act as lead actress, Goo Eunjae (who, in the drama, gets pregnant to rich boyfriend Gyobin, and later married him).
Choi Jonghoon is to act as Eunjae’s boyfriend (whom later becomes husband), Jung Gyobin.
Song Seunghyun is to act as Shin Aeri, who starts out as Goo Eunjae’s best friend (but later turned into her worst enemy).
In the drama, Eunjae’s husband; Gyobin, has an affair with her best friend, Aeri.
To top it all, Aeri even has a son from this affair.
Eunjae later decides to divorce her husband, and gave way to Aeri to marry Gyobin.
After the marriage however, Aeri receives strong disapproval from Gyobin’s family, making her miserable in her own married life.
Byun Woomin (who plays the role Jung Gyobin in the drama), has expressed confidence in Choi Jonghoon’s acting ability, even since he first saw Jonghoon.
The parody will also highlight Song Seunghyun’s portrayal of Shin Aeri’s “Raging Aeri” or “Screaming Aeri”, which will draw a lot of interests from fans.
