The movie, Hype Nation, where ex 2PM leader, Jay Park, will be the main male character has reached a stumbling block.
As many know already, Jay Park and his B-boy crew, Art of Movement (AOM), are going to star in Hype Nation as ‘coincidentally’ an international B-boy group competing in Seoul with various other B-boy groups. However, the leader of AOM, Hwang, was arrested for dodging his mandatory military service. Hwang has earned a good reputation as a senior B-boy and was going to have a big part of upcoming movie, Hype Nation.
However, Hwang was exempted from military service as a result of psychological problems. Not only has Hwang done wrong, many of his B-boy teammates have been following his example towards the military.
Due to this huge controversy, many netizens have been hating on Hwang and the rest of the B-Boys. Even when Hwang apologized on the 4th, the hating has stopped. Due to the problems, Hwang was removed from Hype Nation. Hwang could have had a main role in the movie, but from the looks like it, the producer, Jason Lee, has to cope with the loss and do what they can do right now to shoot the movie.
Otherwise, Jay Park will never see his “star light” again. Also, what will happen to the rest of Art of Movement who excused themselves also from military service?
