Narsha’s costly makeup

Brown Eyed Girls’ Narsha released her solo album recently and has been gaining more fans and attention for her song Bbi Ri Bop A. The song itself is quite addicting but something else people have been noticing is her unique sense of style for this song.

Her flashy clothes are one thing but her crazy makeup is what catches everyone’s eyes. On the 17th, she even uploaded a picture of her face with the makeup on and wrote, “Makeup too precious to take off.”

No wonder she didn’t want to take it off, it costs almost $1000 for her makeup every time she performs! I don’t usually add exclamation points but this is just too ridiculous. Supposedly, her hair costs just as much.

Her outfits cost $1230-$2000 to create and they are never worn twice. Every time she goes on stage, it costs over $3000. Let’s hope she bringing home the money as well. Hopefully she doesn’t promote for too long because that’ll cost her company quite a lot.

miss A tops Monkey3 music chart for the 2nd week running

Having topped the Monkey3 weekly music chart last week, the rookie girl group miss A has done it again by topping the chart this week with their hit single Bad Girl Good Girl.

From the latest chart ranking by Monkey3 which ranked songs from July 12 – 18th, Bad Girl Good Girl edged out the competition once again from that period. In 2nd and 3rd place was Son Dambi’s Queen and  
Narsha’s BBI RI BOP A respectively, as each of them jumped 16 spots.

The photos were taken on during KBS 2FM ‘Up The Volume’ done by Narsha and Rain was a guest appearance on the show recently. After the show, Rain posed together with Narsha for a photo. But Narsha had seemed very nervous from her facial expression.

Netizens’ comments was “She must have felt nervous next to such a hot guy” etc, laughing at Narsha’s expression.

Narsha’s dramatic encounter with Rain

Brown Eyed Girls’ Narsha recently became a radio host by replacing Maybee on what is now Narsha’s Volume Up. For one episode, the idol invited Rain as a special guest. She’s been a fan of him for a long time, so people are especially anticipating their “first” encounter.

This won’t be the first time that Narsha & Rain will get to meet each other face to face. In fact, they go way back to October of 2008 when Rain was on the MBC radio show Starry Night Radio. On that day, they made Rain have a phone call with Narsha. Narsha was beyond excited, but got shy and ended the conversation with, “Oppa, I love you!”

The second encounter was on Invincible Youth. The two exchanged a brief phone call when Kim Tae Woo called Rain up.

Now, her third chance has come along. The world star Rain will be on her radio show on the 4th of May, and the idol-fangirl will have the chance to meet him, talk to him, touch him, laugh with him and so much more.
Narsha said, “I don’t have the confidence to look at him in the eye and talk to him… Please set up a wall in between or something.”

Narsha struggles with English on the radio

Brown Eyed Girls member Narsha is the DJ for KBS Cool FM’s Raise the Volume. And in the latest broadcast, she revealed that her English vocabulary is very limited.
On the show, she has a special corner called, “Put Them On.” This section entails the caller handing their phone over to a random stranger on the street within short walking distance. Unluckily for Narsha, the stranger happened to be a foreigner on this very particular night.
When the caller asked Narsha if talking to a foreigner would be okay, she reluctantly agreed to this. Once the foreigner was on the phone, Narsha proceeded to bust out all the phrases she knew as she said, “Hello, baby” and “What’s your name.”
The foreigner on the phone was very confused and couldn’t fully understand Narsha and her accent. After struggling for a minute or two, the call with the stranger ended.
Some fans called the moment cute but some have even said that adding the “baby” made the conversation awkward. What do you guys think? If a random woman with a broken accent called and said, “Hello baby”, how would you react?

Narsha Prepares for Solo Mini Album in May

Brown Eyed Girls’ Narsha will be the first of the group to release a solo mini album.

A representative from Nega Networks released a statement saying that, “Narsha is currently working on her solo album. We are looking at the release to be in May in the form of a mini album.”
Another artist who is prepared to release her album is Son Dambi. Although we were expecting a “sexy queen” showdown between Hyori and Son Dambi, can we expect a fair competition from these two instead?
Narsha recently provided vocals for Untouchable’s “Living in the Heart” off of their second mini album. Check it out below.

Kim Tae Woo gets together with BEG Narsha for Samsung Anycall

Former g.o.d. member Kim Tae Woo recently got together with fellow Invincible Youth member and Brown Eyed Girl Narsha for a Samsung Anycall Commercial Music Video.

This Commercial Music Video is titled 우심폰까 and uses the beat from Kim Tae Woo’s 내가 야! 하면 넌 예! / I say ya! You say ye (Duet With LYN), which he promoted back in November.

Overall, it’s a very cute commercial. You gotta love Kim Tae Woo trying to sneak in a kiss at the end of the video.

Narsha and Ga-In preparing solo debuts!

That’s right folks, read it and celebrate because it’s been officially reported that Brown Eyed Girls members Narsha and Ga-In will soon be making their solo debuts!

Girl groups like SNSD, Kara and After School are heating up the scene with their comebacks but the Brown Eyed Girls are nowhere to be seen. They’ve been on hiatus since their hit song releases, Abracadabra and Sign.

But the two girls have been keeping their lives active with each of them appearing on reality programs as Narsha joined the G7 on Invincible Youth and Ga-In joined hands with 2AM’s Jo Kwon on We Got Married. And it looks they’re going to further expand on that by making their solo debuts!

A rep said, “Currently, both girls are working on their solo work. They want to provide quality tracks so it’s still in progress. But because Narsha’s solo debut concept will differ from Ga-In, their debut dates will differ in sequence.”

Who else is crazy excited?
