A compliation of graduation photos of pretty boys from idol groups and their current photos put together side-by-side are circulating quickly around internet portal sites in Korea.
From Super Junior’s Kim Heechul to Big Bang’s G-Dragon and T.O.P. to SS501’s Kim Hyung Joong to TVXQ’s Jaejoong, the photos are gathering attention for capturing the individual idol’s youthful and natural image.
Although some look the same as before, others appear radically different from back then. Consequently, their past photos are giving viewers a good laugh.
Netizens’ comments included, “The photos of members who look very different from different are particularly fun” and “I can distinguish which ones were the model students.” What do you think about them?

The Big Bang members, who just feel like the air surrounding each other when they’re in the same space, are pretty much family to Daesung.
Though there was a lot of intimidation at first when even just being in the same room felt awkward, they are now able to trust and rely on each other.

Though each of the members have different personalities as individuals, they are now like family members who make up for each others’ weak points.

”The really funny person is TOP. This one time, I woke up in the morning to find TOP hyung passed out with his face buried in a cake. I seriously thought he had died. It was like the huge twist in a movie where someone you think is dead comes back to life. (laughs)”
The members each have different ways of overcoming the hard times of the entertainment industry too.
”There was this period where it was really physically and mentally hard for all of us. All the members were exhausted. We all fell asleep after joking around that we should run away to an amusement park or something for a break. The next day, TOP hyung was gone again. We saw a note on the table saying ‘I’m leaving. Sorry Big Bang. Love yous.”
The members came to the conclusion that TOP had really disappeared. But just in case he hadn’t, they thoroughly searched through all the dorms and was able to find him in the room of one of their sunbaes, who had recently come to take part in the YG Family 10th Anniversary Concert. What he said to them when they found him was just ridiculous.
”I came to say goodbye to hyung before leaving, and fell asleep.”
Daesung is often envious of TOP’s daringness, as he himself can never say ‘no’ and is always cautious in everything he does.
”Me and Youngbae hyung talk about it sometimes. ‘Even for just a day, I wanna live like TOP hyung.’ But we’d never be able to even if we tried, because of our personalities. (laughs)”
Daesung considers it his good luck that met the other members with their various personalities, including charismatic leader Jiyong and cutie Seungri. He hopes the friendship he shares with the members will last a lifetime.
Big Bang TOP will reveal his solo song during Big Bang’s independent concert.
An official revealed on 21st January, “TOP will reveal his new song during Big Bang ‘Big Show’ concert.”
All this time, TOP has participated as featuring for rap in songs like ‘DISCO’ by Um JungHwa and ‘Sorry’ for Gummy, and is known for his rap capabilities. And all these songs have received great popularity, and with TOP’s own solo song coming up, much anticipation is for how it will be received by music fans.
There has been much interests since it was announced a while back that fellow DaeSung will also be releasing a solo album the first half of the year.
Meanwhile, Big Bang concert will take place from 29th till 31st January. And TOP recently wrote on GDragon’s me2day on 19th January, “This is the place we are together” and attached a photo of their performance venue.

Take a look at the stills from the upcoming war film Into the Gunfire, which stars Kwon Sang-woo and TOP (Choi Seung-hyun) as student soldiers in the Korean War.
They portray two of 71 young students (hence the film’s original title, 71, back when it starred Kim Bum and Yoo Seung-ho) who took a stand against Northern invaders in a battle that would become a pivotal turning point in the war, which began on June 25, 1950.
In these stills, TOP plays Jang-bum, who with his fellow student soldiers goes out to gather food supplies. The soldiers, along with Gab-jo (Kwon Sang-woo), who is fooling around with a grenade, end up blowing up the grain silo. The large-scale explosion scene was filmed safely without injuries.
Kwon Sang-woo explained that he’d sustained minor injuries from shooting their action scenes in the cold weather and slippery conditions, such as shoots requiring him to run after North Korean soldiers, “but seeing the staff who suffers even more than me gives me encouragement. I’m doing my best.”
TOP said, “Following IRIS, to do a movie on such a large scale is an honor. I’m working hard not to cause this film any problems, staying up all day and night rehearsing and filming.”
Into the Gunfire is scheduled to release in June 2010 in time to commemorate the 60 years that have passed since the war first broke out. Likewise, the Korean War-set drama Road Number 1 (starring So Ji-sub, Yoon Kye-sang, and Kim Haneul) is also planning for a June premiere.

It has been revealed that Big Bang members DaeSung and TOP will be releasing their solo albums next year.
With that, each of the 5 Big Bang members will have their own solo albums. For the past 2 years, we have seen members TaeYang, SeungRi and GDragon etc with their solo album release.
YG Entertainment’s head Yang HyunSeok, who had gone to Japan with Big Bang to attend the 51st Japan Record Awards on 30th December, said in an interview on 31st December, “With this award, it will help increase Big Bang’s popularity in Japan.”
“There are also many fans and music officials who are curious about Big Bang’s activities next year, for the first half of next year, Big Bang will focus on their Japanese promotions. And for domestic fans who have been waiting for Big Bang, for the first half of 2009, DaeSung and TOP will release their solo albums.”
According to Yang HyunSeok, TaeYang’s offline album will be released first next year. After which, DaeSung will release a new album. DaeSung is currently personally doing the producing to his own album. And also, after DaeSung’s album, TOP and SeungRi will reveal to fans their own songs in the form of minialbum or digital single release.
Yang HyunSeok said, “DaeSung is doing the music style that he likes, and we have given him the composers right for the music style to him. And DaeSung is doing his own album producing, Fans will be able to feel his own music style through the form of album single released in either full-length or minialbum format.”

Singer Speedmotion revealed his friend, Big Bang's T.O.P's habits when he gets drunk. 
We reported a few hours ago that YG Entertainment had turned down a lead role for T.O.P. on a new upcoming drama, Zero Plus. But after all, he has been quite busy these days working as both a Big Bang member and a cold-blooded killer, so it's understandable. However, the president of YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun Suk, just released an official statement how a schedule conflict wasn't the real reason why they rejected the role. Turns out, they are actually looking for another member of Big Bang to fill the spot.
Yang Hyun Suk stated:
"What was released through the press is completely different from the truth. We are currently looking for another Big Bang member, since we believed T.O.P. is not suitable for that specific role. We did consider T.O.P. at first for Song Ji Na's new drama which YG will be producing, Zero Plus, as a student who dreams to be a musical actor. However, we believed T.O.P. the rapper is not fitting for the role of a student. It is true that T.O.P.'s schedule is very hectic as an actor and a member of Big Bang, but we would never reject a role for Song Ji Na's drama with the excuse of a busy schedule."
Big Bang's resident BAMF rapper T.O.P. has been doing more acting than rapping lately. It looks like his acting career is really starting to take flight. In fact, he was recently offered the lead role in a drama titled 'Zero Plus' directed by Song Ji Na.
Unfortunately, YG Entertainment turned it down. A representative from YG Entertainment explained their decision in a phone interview, "A role was offered for director Song Jina's drama 'Zero Plus'. However, because of conflicts with movie filming and activities as a member of Big Bang, we politely declined the offer."
Diving further into the matter they said, "After the 20 episode drama 'IRIS' ends, he will immediately start filming for the movie 'Into the Gunfire'. And also as a Big Bang member, he must return to his activities in Japan and it would be difficult to participate in 'Zero Plus'."
It's quite unfortunate that we'll miss out on watching T.O.P. in another drama. It would have been quite a treat for the fans to see him playing the lead role and appearing in every episode. After all, who can resist those sexy killer eyes?
It is said that TOP and Jyu-Ni had a kiss scene in KBS 2TV drama ‘IRIS’.
The filming of kiss scene for cold-blooded killer of secret organisation IRIS in the show played by TOP and NSS programmer Yang MiJung played by Jyu-Ni during their date out has ended recently.
The love scene by the 2 was actually the topic amongst netizens who witnessed the filming recently. But not much about the love scene was revealed and this has got many curious about it.
