SBS finalizes the 12 member female cast for new variety show Heroes

We reported earlier that Bada, After School leader Kahi and Seo In Young will come together to take part in a brand new variety show on SBS called Heroes.

SBS has finalized the cast list today and Bada has been ruled out of the equation. In her place is Narsha of the BEG and she joins Kahi, Seo In Young, Noh Sa Yeon, Hong Soo Ah, Lee Jin, Shin Bong Sun, IU, Yoo In Na, Nicole (KARA) and Jiyeon (T-ara), forming a formidable 12 female member cast. Noh Hong Chul and Lee Hwi Jae will also be part of the variety show.

After School gets their own variety program

For the first time since debut, girl group After School will be featured in their very own variety program.
The show, called Play Girlz School, is expected to give full access to the girls’ behind-the-stage stories for the fans around the globe. Also, After School promises to interact with their fans much more during the filming of the program, as they’ve already posted an invitation letter to ask to join them in the show’s opening ceremony pretty soon.

Play Girlz School will be broadcast every Tuesday on MBC every1, starting in July.

Female idols auction off hand prints for a good cause

I’m sure all of you have been dying to meet your favorite idols, maybe even hoping to touch their hands. Well, now you can make that dream into a reality. Well, kind of.

Recently, Sports Seoul and Gmarket have come together to auction off stars’ hand prints for charity.
Besides the fact that these hand prints are those of female idols (sorry fan girls, there are no male idol hand prints), these hand prints are no ordinary hand prints. As some of you may expect them to simply be inked hand prints on paper, on the contrary, they are cast in metal, making them less vulnerable to wear and tear–in other words, you can have your idols’ hand by your side for all eternity.
