Rain gets caked on his birthday
On the 25th which was his 28th birthday, Rain got caked by his backup dancers at his concert in Japan.
The tour in Japan started on the 22nd and he’s already having a good time, judging from the released pictures. The cake was prepared by his fans but his dancers knew exactly what to do with it other than eat it.
Usually a cake is just squished onto the face once but this one was absolutely destroyed because they really spread it around his face in little pieces.

MBLAQ Lee Joon reveals an episode where Rain called him by ‘darling’
MBLAQ Lee Joon reveals an incident where Rain had called him by ‘darling’.
Part of group MBLAQ groomed by Rain, Lee Joon confesses the incident which had left him feeling flustered.
The 2 of them were on the recently filming of ‘Happy Together’ when Lee Joon was asked if he had ever
seen a side to Rain which is not the strict side of him. Lee Joon then replied that he had gone to Cebu with
Rain before for a photoshoot filming.
Rain was swimming really coolly when he brushed back his hair and did aegyo towards him by saying
“Darling darling darling~”. Lee Joon’s confession had the others at the show laughing. Lee Joon said he is still
puzzled as to why Rain did that and he was flustered back then. Rain then gave his explanations to why he did so.

Something is really Fishy with 2PM
From K-pop Charts, Lee Hyori, Rain, and 2PM have been heating things up with their new singles.
But, if you look closely, on KBS Music Bank, this past weekend, 2PM broke the K-Charts with a number one, but they only won in album sales and lost in every other category. Between 2PM and Rain, the “Beastly” 2PM beat him by 5000 points in album sales with a difference of about 3000 overall. Also with “Sexy Queen” Lee Hyori, they won by 6000 points in album sales and 4000 overall.
If this is not enough, on Sunday’s SBS Inkigayo, Lee Hyori finally won her 3rd Mutizen which means something is going down with 2PM. Because 2PM lost SBS Inkigayo, they couldn’t have had that much album sales. How could anyone sell 6000 points worth of albums in less than one day?
Something’s fishy about 2PM. What do you think?

BEG Narsha looking nervous next to hot guy Rain?
The photos were taken on during KBS 2FM ‘Up The Volume’ done by Narsha and Rain was a guest appearance on the show recently. After the show, Rain posed together with Narsha for a photo. But Narsha had seemed very nervous from her facial expression.
Netizens’ comments was “She must have felt nervous next to such a hot guy” etc, laughing at Narsha’s expression.

Lee Joon is Rain’s Hubby?
On the broadcast of SBS Intimate Note 3 last April 30th, Lee Joon revealed a rather intimate and weird pet name he is called by his boss.
As many of you know, Rain starred in a Hollywood action film titled Ninja Assassin and in a particular part, his apprentice Lee Joon of MBLAQ also featured in the movie portraying the younger version of Rain’s character.
For that, Lee Joon needed to join Rain during his trip to Hollywood. While they were staying there, Lee Joon recalled a time wherein he was out swimming with Rain.
Lee Joon said,
“I’m not sure if he remembers this. I went overseas together with Rain for the poster photo shoot. We were swimming coolly. However, he suddenly turned, flipped his hair back, and shouted ‘Hubby~ Hubby~ Hubby~’ at me.”Everyone in the studio got curious, and so Lee Joon further explained the situation.
He said “I was pretty much shocked and surprised at the same time. Hyung suddenly asked, ‘What would you do if your girlfriend called you that? How would you feel?’. And then, I found out that he was just acting out a sticky situation.”
With that said and done, I’m not surprised if Rain turns into JYP.

The Guy Liner Trend is Taking Male Idols by Storm
As the casual observer of the hustle and bustle behind the scenes of the various music programs can attest, all of the singers and artists are busy getting their hair and make-up done. Even though the makeup varies per individual, the latest trend prominent for male singers’ makeup is heavy eyeliner.
After 4 weeks of holding off live broadcasts, KBS finally aired it’s regular Music Bank program on the 30th of April. The group of performers who took part in the program consisted of top singers and groups such as Rain, Lee Hyori, SNSD, After School and Secret, as well as some of the newly debuted artists such as Jerry and Soya N Sun
During the filming of Music Bank, rising idol groups 2AM, ZE:A, U-Kiss and F.cuz were all seen to be fashionably sporting the thick eyeliner look as well. The eyeliner is so thickly applied that if they were to blink or close their eyes slightly, bold creases or make-up cracks on the eyelids would appear. In addition, the duo NoRaJo who were making their comeback, were also in trend sporting the thick eyeliner concept.
In response to the sudden influx or change in make-up trends from female to male performers, one representative stated, “If the female singers are doing smokey makeup, then the male singers are doing extremely thick eyeliner to intensify their look. It makes their eyes pop more on stage.”
A different representative reaffirmed that indeed thick glam-rocker eyeliners are here to stay as “Nowadays, the heaviness of the male singers’ makeup is catching up to the female singer’s makeup. Even if they don’t use any other kind of makeup, eyeliner is most usually always used.”
However, there is a certain price to be paid for wanting your eyes to “pop” on stage as one singer who was about to perform so aptly stated, “Because our eyeliner is so thick, we cannot close our eyes on stage. There can’t be any images of that captured and uploaded on the internet” he shuddered at the thought.
The increase in the thickness of guyliners are meant to increase the intensity of the male singers’ gazes, for as they say, the eyes are the windows to one’s soul. You do have to question though: Does increasing and piling on the glamliners add to the beastly and sultry effect? Or does it simply mean that every male artist is conforming rather than trying out something different?
Now, as this trend has caught on as standard stage make-up issue, male singers simply cannot forget to put on their eyeliner. While this does not mean that chaos and eager netizen scrutiny would ensure if a certain male singer forgot his eyeliner, some male singers are taking their make-up to a whole other level. These conscious perfectionists apply even more where thick eyeliner is already present. Perhaps, the thicker the liner, the more intense the gaze they’ll be able to show.
In his most recent comeback promotions, Rain employed a new eyelash concept with the same intention of making his eyes look more intense. It can be said that Rain’s daring eyelash concept took off with great effect as it immediately caught the attention of many. The image of his intense eyes can be seen on his album jacket and he wears them for his performance on stage as well.
As soon as this was revealed, many have been curious as to just how many other kinds of make-up male singers use. How about foundation products? For a start, do male artists use BB Cream? What do you think?
Afterall, under all those bright stage and camera lights, it is necessary that make-up be applied to all idols, male and female, otherwise it’ll be difficult to make out their features. On another note, just how much make-up is enough?

Narsha’s dramatic encounter with Rain
This won’t be the first time that Narsha & Rain will get to meet each other face to face. In fact, they go way back to October of 2008 when Rain was on the MBC radio show Starry Night Radio. On that day, they made Rain have a phone call with Narsha. Narsha was beyond excited, but got shy and ended the conversation with, “Oppa, I love you!”
The second encounter was on Invincible Youth. The two exchanged a brief phone call when Kim Tae Woo called Rain up.
Now, her third chance has come along. The world star Rain will be on her radio show on the 4th of May, and the idol-fangirl will have the chance to meet him, talk to him, touch him, laugh with him and so much more.
Narsha said, “I don’t have the confidence to look at him in the eye and talk to him… Please set up a wall in between or something.”
