MBLAQ’s Mir and Jewelry’s Ha Joo Yeon have been declared a couple! Fan girls hold onto your seats, because it’s gonna be a bumpy ride!

During filming of an upcoming episode of MBLAQ’s Idol Army season 5, Jewelry’s Ha Joo Yeon came onto the show as a guest and that’s when all of the magic happened.

Basically, Mir wrote down that his ideal woman was Jewelry’s Ha Joo Yeon, the MC of the show Shin Bong Sun, discovered this and worked together with the other MBLAQ members to help Mir out. Anyway, Mir who is 5 years younger than Ha Joo Yeon, made his moves and judging by the smile on her, she didn’t seem to dislike it.

This is when Jewelry’s other member Kim Eun Jung declared, “Starting from today, the two of you are a couple.” Shin Bong Sun then added, “Today is Mir and Joo Yeon’s first day as a couple.”

During this situation, it is said that Mir had a huge, yet somewhat embarrassed smile on his face. This love story between the two idols will air later tonight in Korea (24th).

Female rappers destroy it at the MAMA’s

As we previously mentioned some of the best female idol rappers, Baby-J of Jewelry, Miryo of Brown Eyed Girls, Jiyoon and Hyuna of 4minute and female rap icon, Yoon Mi Rae, will be collaborating to perform an amazing hip-hop performance at the MAMA awards.

The performance has finally taken place and to no surprise, it was amazing.

The idol girls stated that they were nervous to be performing with Yoon Mi Rae, who is arguably the best rapper in Korea, but despite this, I think they did a decent job.

Jewelry teases with Vari2ty

Seo In Young hits up the cameras with lots of charisma and a snake in hand!

Jewelry's MV teaser for "Vari2ty" off of their 6th album was just released, and it's pretty damn hot!

Star Empire stated, "In order to make the music video more charismatic and enticing, Seo In Young used real live snakes to film. They used 3 snakes, 1 of them being an albino snake, so that it would stand out."

Jewelry's 6th album has been delayed by 2 days and will now be released on the 27th.

Sneak peek of Jewelry’s music video filming

After letting fans get a taste of Jewelry's new concept for their upcoming 6th album Sophisicated and Strong Girl on the 17th, Star Empire has now released another picture of the girls at the filming site for their music video.

Jewelry filmed their music video in a Gyeonggi-do studio on the 15th and were in dresses, designed by Korean fashion designer, Lee Sang Bong. Park Jung Ah looked really nice and elegant in her dress, Seo In Young had a Lady Gaga/tiger motif inspired outfit which really stood out, Kim Eun Jung wore a cute little white dress while Ha Joo Yeon donned a vintage dress.

Star Empire said, "We are very grateful to fashion designer, Lee Sang Bong for sponsoring us the dresses. The Jewelry members had nothing but praise for the attractive dresses and were really honored to be wearing them for the music video."

Jewelry's 6th album, Sophisicated and music video will drop on 25th August.

Some of you might have been wondering what letters or word the girls are carrying in the picture. Seo In Young has V,A on her head, Joo Yeon has R,I in her hands, Eun Jung has 2 in her hands while Jung Ah carries T,Y. Together, the word is spelt as V-A-R-I-2-T-Y, Vari2ty. Why 2 and not E? In Korean language, E can be pronounced as 2 also.

Jewelry’s Sophisicated Individual Concept Photos

After being given a taste of what Jewelry's going to give us with Strong Girl off their 6th album, more concept pictures of the individual girls' were released by Star Empire this afternoon. All 4 members were showcased in their own individual colors, showing their unique sophisicated charm, as they wore different outfits and styles. Seo In Young stood out from the other three members with her charisma, thanks to her blonde wig and lingerie outfit ensemble.

Star Empire said, "The girls were really exhausted after a marathon 30 hours of filming for their music video. But because this is a new album after a long while and they do not want to disappoint anyone, they went about the filming with bright, cheery faces. They are working really hard and we hope that everyone can show their support when they begin their promotions. Jewelry's 6th album, Sophisicated drops on 25th August.

Ahead of their 6th studio album Sophisicated release on 25th August, Jewelry has revealed a song called Strong Girl on 17th August. Strong Girl is an electronic pop song produced by Someday member Joo Young, who is famous for producing songs for LeeSsang, MC Mong, Jang Woo Hyuk and most recently the Boys over Flowers OST. Lyrics for Strong Girl were written by Kim Na Young.

Jewelry is coming back Strong

Jewelry will be coming back stronger than ever with their 6th album entitled "Sophisticated," on August 25th, 2009! They will however release their title song "Strong Girl," via online music sites on the 17th.

Strong Girl will be an electronic pop song produced by Someday member Joo Young, who is famous for producing songs for LeeSsang, MC Mong, Jang Woo Hyuk and most recently the Boys over Flowers OST. Lyrics for Strong Girl were written by Kim Na Young.

It seems Jewelry wants in on the girl group action, but will they be able to keep up with all the rookies?

The 2nd concept photo to group Jewelry’s comeback 6th album was released on 13th August.

The first teaser photo was revealed on 11th August, and showed the girls in white outfits and sunglasses, and this time they are dressed in stylish black, going for the chic sexy image.

The title song to the 6th album will be ‘Variety’ as can be seen in this 2nd concept photo.

Their company also said, “This 6th album will focus on the different charms of the 4 members. There will be more individual concept photos to be revealed.”

Jewelry comeback imminent

Girl group Jewelry is coming back with their 6th album soon and have already given us a little teaser. Last year they rocked the charts with their hit song 'One More Time' and popular E.T dance. Even though this summer is the summer of the girl groups, people are seeing their comeback as rather stable because they are such veterans and because of their great success last year. In fact, they are expected to keep their title of girl group queen with their return.

Furthermore, people are already interested in what dance they will come up with this time. Last year's E.T dance was considered the dance of the nation so this year's dance is being anticipated even more. Although Park Jung Ah and Seo In Young are very experienced as singers and have been in the team from the beginning, Jewelry S (Kim Eun Jung and Ha Joo Yeon) are returning much more experienced as well.

Their company has stated "Jewelry's 6th album will have the charm that only Jewelry has and will consist of trendy and perfected music. The members have worked hard to get ready for this album so that everyone may see them at their very best. We hope that everyone will anticipate and support these girls."

With no doubt, these girls are coming back bigger and better than before. It'll be a nice change from the girl groups we're seeing today. Let's see what experience can really do on the 25th of August!

Depression is the reason why Jewelry Seo In Young went America

It has been known that Jewelry Seo In Young had went to America the beginning of this year due to depression.

She had revealed that during her appearance on an upcoming episode of SBS YaShimManMan 2.

Amidst her busy schedule, she had received stress more than she had expected to feel,”I had depression. So in the end, I decided to end all activities I had and to go on a vacation.”

Back then, Seo In Young had not provided for a reason to why she had suddenly stop all her activities to go to America. And fans had been worried about her sudden decision.

Known as the ‘Reality Queen’ for her appearance on several reality shows like ‘We Got Married’ etc, she said, “I had to take stabilizers before I go to sleep at night”.

This episode of YaShimManMan will air on 22nd.

Seo In Young admits, “I used to hide my feelings from the other Jewelry members”

Singer Seo In Young revealed that she used to conceal herself from other past Jewelry members on KBS 2TV Entertainment Weekly’ aired on 20th June.

She said, “I just to conceal myself from the other Jewelry members in the past. I feel that I lived by without thinking because I was jealous of the other members. If only I have tell myself to stop and think through about things, i believe I would have develop as a singer faster.”

And about the title of ’sexy singer’, she said, “I hope that everyone would not call me that. It’s not that it is very rustic. But when I’m dancing, I cannot be wearing clothes that are covering too much. But I hope everyone will see this with an open mind.”

She also revealed, “My last relationship ended a year back”.

Jewelry for comeback stage after 1 year

Female group Jewelry will perform on music program together as a group after 1 year.

They will be performing on Mnet M!Countdown on 18th June for a powerful live stage.

The group, which made a craze with the ET dance last year with the song ‘One More Time’ from their 5th album released last February. They will be entering the stage in a car for their live performance.

Jewelry’s company said, “Jewelry, who has now become the big sisters in the girl group in the Kpop world, will be back after 1 year.”

2009 Dream Concert to be held in SangAm – performing artistes Big Bang and Dong Bang Shin Ki etc

2009 Dream Concert will be held in SangAm stadium instead of JamSil stadium.

This will be the 15th anniversary for the annual Kpop event and will be held on 10th October in SangAm WorldCup Stadium. And the title to the concert will be ‘Loving Korea 2009 Dream Concert’. And it will not only be an event for teenagers and their idols but it aims to be also an event for the whole family to enjoy.

All this while, Dream Concert has been an annual event aimed at giving hope and dreams for teenagers, seeing about 70,000 fans every year.

Last year, we saw the performances by 20 teams: Dong Bang Shin Ki, Super Junior, SS501, Epik High, So Nyeo Shi Dae, MC Mong, Jewelry, WonderGirls, Miya, Typhoon, ShinHwa etc.

And this year it has been said that big stars like Big Bang and Dong Bang Shin Ki will be performing.

Fashion icon Seo In Young is back

Jewelry Seo In Young is back in Korea after her 2-month American vacation and she did the photoshoot for Maybelline on 30th March in Seoul for the brand’s lip gloss product.

At the photoshoot, she was seen with a very feminine image. When asked about her new image, she said, “It is quite a burden to transform into a very feminine image suddenly. I want to show the very strong and free image like I had did previously.”

Seo In Young revealed a new fashion trend, “Recently the trend for spring is chiffon dress with vintage flower pattern prints and boots. While this can be a lovely look, it gives out a strong feeling also.”

She also revealed plans to come out with a book and also make a trip down to Singapore for that.

The recording for Jewelry’s new album will start in April and the Jewelry will comeback in June-July with a new album.

Seo In Young will discover new Seo In Young concept in America

Seo In Young has left for America New York for her rest vacation end-January.

It is said that Seo In Young will return to Korea mid-February.

Seo In Young was said to be watching good performances there and also also doing some studying at the same time. She is also said to be in search for a new concept for herself before she returns to Korea.

There are plans for Jewelry to start work on their new album in March, and fans will be able to see a new Seo In Young in May.
