Just like M! Countdown which disappeared from our screens last year without a word and got resurrected last month, MNET has bought back the controversial program, MNET Scandal which fangirls especially have a love-hate relationship (for various reasons) with it for the second season.
And if you didn’t know, MNET Scandal pairs up a celebrity and a lucky girl (or guys for female celebrities) where they will act like a real dating couple.
The first guest shown last week was actor, Choi Phillip which no one seemed to care about. But the upcoming guest is sure to rile some feathers.
He is none other than MBLAQ’s Thunder who will be the first idol star on this season and joins an illustrious list of idol group members who have been on the show last season. From the pictures below, we can concur that they went to an amusement park and there was no shortage of skinship between them.
Check out the pictures ahead of the broadcast on March 24th.
Many thanks to ilovecute7 for the tip.
White Day, celebrated a month after Valentine’s Day, is a day for guys to give chocolate to someone they like.
So…who did Sandara Park of 2NE1 spend her White Day with? No one other than…her brother, Thunder from MBLAQ!
On March 14th, Sandara Park put up a picture of her date with her lovely brother on her me2day.
She said, “Today is White Day! I finally met Thunder after a really long time of not seeing him. He says he couldn’t sleep because of practice, but he came to see his sister.”
She also added, “I felt bad, but I felt better when I saw him eating well! ^.^(In the picture, it looks like I’m eating a lot, but I’m not)”
Netizens have responded, “Dara noona takes good care of her brother!” “She is such a good sister” “It’s White Day, you should ask your brother for chocolate” “You two look beautiful” and more.
If I had a brother that good looking, or a sister that cute, I would be flaunting him or her on this holiday too! Good luck to both 2NE1 and MBLAQ!
Idol groups’ finest, U-Kiss’ Dongho and Eli, Shinee’s Key, and Mblaq’s Thunder will all be getting together as hosts for a new variety show.
This new show, Raising an Idol, will be shown through a cable channel and the first filming is set for the 5th.
In response to the news of this new variety show, fans have been commenting, “What kind of program is ‘Raising an Idol’?” “It’s not another program where they date girls, right?” and “I’m looking forward to seeing them on a variety show.”
A representative stated, “Dongho, Eli, Key, and Thunder have been chosen as Raising an Idol’s members. Raising an Idol will be a reality program where these idol stars will be using their knowledge and skills. We believe that the members will do well despite their young age, because they have a lot of talent.”
Stay tuned for more!
MBLAQ made their debut last year and has made quite a big name for themselves. Although they haven’t been actively promoting their music on the k-pop scene, they’ve been recently appearing in various magazines as they pose and flaunt their hot bodies.
Recently, Thunder showed off a very unique fashionista side of himself for Elle Girl magazine. He donned on a unique set of clothing, revealing a chic image for viewers. Check out the photos for yourself!
Sandara Park’s little brother, Thunder of MBLAQ has gotten himself a new nickname: “smelly-dol.” Doesn’t sound like such a great one to me.
On a recent recording of Idol Army, Kang Ye Bin stated that Thunder had a funky scent and game him his new nickname. I wouldn’t be surprised if Thunder isn’t too thrilled with this.
Kang Ye Bin was trying to pick a member that smelled the best but she said, “Thunder’s feet smell.” Ouch!
Thunder was caught off guard by the honesty of Kang Ye Bin and was left speechless. Of course, the other women didn’t care because Thunder is the cutie of the group.
This episode will air on the 6th.
Celebrity siblings Sandara Park and Thunder’s comparison of the size of their faces has received heated responses from netizens.
Sandara Park posted a photo taken with her younger brother MBLAQ Thunder on her me2day on 23rd December.
She wrote, “A few days back I went to Inkigayo to watch ‘Please Don’t Go’ performance, and met singer Thunder coincidentally… Because he was too cool, I asked to take photos together and he agreed. The child’s face is too small that my photo turned out a little embarrassingㅠㅠ He is known to be a 9 deung-shin*! I am not going to take photos with him!Hmmp! My face is also small!!!ㅠㅠ”
And about the good-looking siblings who not only have pretty features they were also attractive in terms of their physical build, and netizens commented, “Their face sizes are really outstanding”, “They really received some good genes from the family. So envious” etc

The amount of celebrities getting swine flu is really getting out of hand. MBLAQ's Thunder is the latest to have fallen.
J.Tune Entertainment stated to Newsen on the 26th:
"Thunder was diagnosed this afternoon with swine flu. He is currently under-going treatment."
"We are waiting for G.O, Mir and the other members' examination results as well. Because Lee Joon and Thunder have both been diagnosed with swine flu, we believe it will be difficult to continue on with the groups schedules."
